The next morning Geet woke up to the sun rays of Delhi.The first thing that caught her eyes were the engagement ring.She caressed it lovingly thinking about Maan,Her parents had seen the ring & were overjoyed about it.They had actually sensed there were some problems between Maan & Geet towards the start but now everything had been settled out.Precisely her parents still thought that it was an arranged marriage as Geet did not tell them that Maan & she love each other.It was so awkward for her to talk to her parents about love!
While eating her breakfast,she surfed the news channels one after the other.To her amazing surprise,all of them carried Maan's interviews.Khurana Constructions had had a very important meeting with clients from New York.Now they are aiming to strike a deal in crores with them.The news was enough to make Geet overjoyed & ofcourse to fill her tummy!.She immediately made her way to KC to congratulate Maan.

"Dad,I guess now you don't have any complaints to me!" said Maan,as he talked on the phone sitting in his cabin, "Like you had said, the clients seemed impressed & I am sure they will strike a deal with us! "
"You have to prepare the blueprints very well"
"Absolutely Dad!" said Maan with an air of confidence, "Once the deal is striked,I bet Dadima will not at all consider Dev as the heir to the property!" he smirked.
"I hope aisa hi ho.But for that you have to concentrate on your project instead of Geet.I still remember how you cancelled that meeting because Geet had disappeared or went somewhere without telling you!I-"
Maan interrupted Yash when he saw Geet coming in the cabin.
"Dad,I-I will speak to you later!" he rang off...
Geet came in the cabin & stood looking at Maan frowning with her hands folded.Maan walked towards her & pulled her closer to him.
"I am not talking to you!" said Geet avoiding eye-contact.
"O..kay?So you have come here to not talk to me!!!I see..." sais Maan,smirking.
"You did not tell me anything about such an important meeting!" she pretended to be angry.
"Achcha that???Well..I knew that the clients will be happy with us.So..." he kissed her hand "...wanted to give you a surprise & celebrate with you!" he said in a seductive voice.
Geet blushed.She distanced herself from him but he again pulled her towards him.
"Won't you congratulate me?" he smirked.
"C-Congratulations" she dared not look at him.
"Such a lame wish?I ...expected something more."he said in a velvety voice.
She knew what was in his mind.The pink colour darkened in her cheeks as he pulled her even more closer sealing the distance between them & his eyes intently watched her every expression.
"Maan...mujhe jaane dijiye na!" she said in a shy smile.
"I am waiting Geet!" he said ignoring her plea making her fix her eyes on him.
Her heart skipped a beat.There was no escaping from him now.She brought her lips closer to him.Maan geared up for her rosy soft lips to touch his.Just when he was about to feel the touch of her lips,she suddenly kissed his cheeks instead!But even with that,she could butterflies in her stomach that she though to run away from there
Maan held her from behind & placed his chin on her shoulder & whispered
"Very Smart!"
"That I am!"
Geet then turned to face him
"Maan.." she said in a soft voice,hugging him,"I am very very happy for you!"
"When you are there with me everything is wonderful..."
Few moment later,they broke the hug but still they were in close proximity.
"When is your presentation?"
"After eight days from now!"
"OMG!Even my exams are on that day!"
"Hmm.."
"I will study on my own,you prepare the blueprints properly"
"No ways..Geet I have promised to prepare for your exams!"
"But Maan--"
"No 'ands' and 'buts'!"
"Thik hai!Then even I will help you with the blueprint.I know I wouldn't be able to do much as it is indeed a tough job but I will help you with small things!" she said it rather innocently.
They shared a long eye-lock..

"Ma-an I am nervous!"
"Oh Come On!Dadima & others are very excited to meet you."
They stood facing the elegant Khurana Mansion.Though Geet came over here the second time,the mansion only looked more gracious & magnificent probably because now the entire Khurana family were present there.Geet again wandered her gaze at it's magnificence & milk-white colour.It indeed looked like a palace gleaming in the sunlight & sparking with lights at night.The gates to the mansion were high enough & were guarded by well-equipped security.The mansion evinced all signs of richness & grandeur. Geet found it hard to take her eyes off & watch the way where she was walking.She realized that they were already inside the gate.There were lush green gardens,topped with beautiful flowers on either side of the way which lead to the inside the mansion. She also saw a fountain on one of the sides,the water falling on pink & white lotus petals.She also saw a table & some chairs kept around it incase if anyone wanted to dissolve in the beauty around.
The coridoors further leaded the way.Those had white curtains on either side & also some beautiful flower pots.Geet could just gape at everything.Her voice seemed to ditch her everytime.Walking in the mansion,she witnessed the highest ceiling ever decorated with small & big chandeliers. The floor was made of pure golden-white marble Each & every thing in the hall were ostentatious & unique in their own way.The furnitures were grand having a touch of Greek culture.There were spiral staricases leading to the next floor.A line of butlers stood wearing black & white tuxedos with their gaze towards the floor. The kitchen which she had seen earlier too never failed to disappoint her bearing all the modern-day gadgets.The mansion had all-in-all twenty-five rooms designed in a different manner.Geet felt as if all the luxuries under the sun had walked in here & made themselves accessible.
They were in the hall where the Khuranas had assembled to greet her.Geet looked from one to other.Maan's parents Yash & Gurpreet, Dadima & Anwesha.Gurpreet & Dadima had big smiles on their faces while Anwesha appeared cheeky casting her eyes from Geet to her brother.
"Geet bete,we are indeed very very happy to meet you!Aap dono ko saath dekhkar buhot achcha lag raha hai!" said dadima.She was a graceful old lady probably in her mid-sixties but her age did not seem to hinder the elegance & undisputed royalty in her appearance.Her voice conyeved the unique intelligence which is very much supposed to be possessed by the eldest of the Khurana clan.She had all features of being a queen ruling her kingdom.
"Dadima!" Geet took her blessings & was embraced lovingly by her.
Yash & Gurpreet evinced all signs of being known as the proud parents of Maan Singh Khurana.Gurpreet came across as a soft & sweet lady having unconventional love for her children which Yash was strict in his appearance.Geet took both their blessings.
"Hi Geet,I am Annie.I think we are meeting for the first time" she stretched out a hand to Geet with an air of pride & sophistication.She wore a red dress slightly above her knees.She was a little haughty but she clearly lived up to being the pampered teenage sister of MSK.
"Hello Annie & I am absolutely sure we are meeting for the first time!" she said in a same manner with a slight smirk.It was clear that Annie expected Geet to be a naive & introvert but only Maan knew the various shades which Geet possessed!
"Geet! Your parents will be coming here within sometime.We have invited them to have dinner with us!" said Dadi,elated
"Really?" asked Geet,surprised.
"We landed in Delhi by yestarday morning's flight,then we were invited to Handa residence for lunch but since you & Geet were busy honeymooning, we are again having a dinner party here!" Annies completed with a glint in her eyes looking at Maan.
"That was not a honeymoon Annie!" said Maan in a stern voice.Geet seemed to heave a sigh of relief hearing him!
Just then a voice was heard by everyone & all turned to look up
"I guess we are late to greet the new member of our family" said Dev as he along with Rhea descended down the stairs to the hall.
"Dev & Rhea,I think!" mumbled Geet.
Maan was shocked to see Dev there.He shot a quick glance at Yash who seemed expressionless.
Geet saw them as they came down.Dev appeared a dapper gentleman,quite formal & Rhea looked beautiful in the blue sari
"Maan veerji,Ms Geet pleasure seeing you!"said Rhea who was indeed a charm.
Her voice seemed to click Geet somewhere like she had heard it in real before.."Same here!& please don't be formal!" said Geet, cheerfully.
Maan & Dev shared a rueful stare amidst the greetings of the ladies while Yash chose to retreat to his room till Geet's parents came there.
The ladies were chatting heartily.Geet noticed that Rhea got along very well with Dadima & Annie & also with her.Annie had even suggested that she Rhea & Geet could become a girly gang & have lots of fun during the marriage ceremonies.
The Khuranas were warm in their conduct.Geet was amazed seeing seven personalities completely different from each other under one roof.Each had a different shade of their own,only one thing they had in common which was their attractive personality.
Maan had been secretly staring at Geet from behind a piller all the while.He was smiling.The thought that Geet gelled with everyone & that to within such short span of time was surprising.It was getting increasingly difficult for him to stay away from her.There were ten whole days still left for there marriage.
While talking with Rhea,Geet suddenly saw that Maan was staring at her.Her heart missed a beat.She began to blush all over again.Rhea noticed that suddenly Geet started to speak softly & with the extra colour on her cheeks.
"Geet?What happened?Kuch hua hai kya?" asked Rhea,confused.
Dadima too had noticed the sudden change in Geet.It was then that her eyes fell on Maan behind the piller not taking his eyes of Geet.Dadi at once knew that Maan had surely loved Geet.
Dadima shook her head,smiling, "Finally the purpose of the will has been achieved!Kudos to me!"
Maan realized that Dadi had seen him.He went away feeling shy for the very first time!
After some time Geet excused herself from the banter when she realized that Maan was not around.She was walking alond the coridoors thinking where he could be!
"Oh God!Kahan gaye Maan!Now where to find him in this palace!!" she gave a shrugg.
Just then she felt someone's hand wrapping around her arms.Even before she could react,she was pulled into a room & the door was locked.Geet was so horrified that she closed her eyes.When she opened her eyes unsurely,she saw Maan smirking at her leaning against the wall holding her closer to him.
"Tumne bulaya aur hum chalein aaye!"said Maan with a glint in his eyes.
"Are you kidnapping me or something??" asked Geet perturbed
"If I would want to kidnap you,I could do that anywhere mishty!"he smirked
"Mishty!!!!Who the heck is Mishty!!!Listen Mister!If I find you are cheating on me,then you are dead!!!!!!!!!" she said with vengence.
"Aab batao,who will want to kidnap you & risk their life!!!" he teased her
"Excuse me??!!!"
"Sweetheart ko hindi mein mishty kehte hain!Aajkal you blush away too much when ever I am close to you so mishty is appropriate!" he smirked and as expected he noticed thick red colour gather around & in her cheeks.No doubt he enjoyed that ,"Soch lo,shaadi ke baad only we both will stay over here!Phir toh.. " said Maan with mischief playing in his eyes.
"Only we both?" her heart was beating rather fast hearing that.
"Hmm..not exactly Dadi will be here with us,Annie wants mom & dad to be with her in London whilst she completes her studies.Dev & Rhea will return to Canada" the last sentance was said in a distinguished voice.
"Iska matlab the family has come over here together only for the wedding??" Geet pondered for a while.
Maan noticed it, "Heyy Mishty!Where are you lost?"
"N-Nothing.So only you ,me & Dadi in this palace?"asked Geet again,casting her eyes on him.
"Not really!Our children will also stay here" he smirked making Geet blush further.
"Mein j-jaati hoon-"
But Maan blocked her way & pulled her again towards him.
"Waise,you have seen my entire family but you did not tell me what you think about me!"
"Maan,you have become very naughty!" she blurted immediately.
"Achcha?Your confidence level is rising!" whispered Maan.
Geet once again shied away,"N-No,woh toh bus aise hi.." she smiled shyly.
They were cozying up more inside the room when they heard the mansion doors opening.Geet was alarmed.
"Lagta hai mummy-papa aa gaye..I need to go!"saying this she hurried outside.
"Aree Mishty wait!" called out Maan but Geet had gone,"Chali gayi!"
As Maan was making his way towards the hall,he had to cross Dev's path.Maan did not look at him.
"Bro,won't you ask me how come I am here?" he smiled evily.
"What to ask?Dadi still considers you to be a part of the family as she is unaware of what's going on,so that's why you are here!"said Maan,expressionless.
"And I bet you won't tell anyone!" he smirked.
Maan did not chose to reply.He went from there to the hall followed by Dev.
