UDHAY WAS OVERWHELMED'
Director Seenuramasamy is quite happy that his next film, Neerparavai, produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, is creating a buzz in the industry. The director recently screened the film, which stars Vishnu and Sunaina in the lead, for his producer and was quite surprised when Udhay congratulated him for coming out with a superior film.
"I screened close to one and a half hours of the film, including song montages. Once the screening was over, Udhayanidhi was overwhelmed and he expressed his happiness that the film has managed to surpass his expectations," says Seenu.
The director will now begin the next schedule of the film from June 15 in the coastal areas around Rameswaram.
"Almost 70 per cent of the film is complete and we have only some songs and fight sequences, in addition to some patch work, left. We are working hard to ensure that the film release by August or latest by September," he adds.
Meanwhile, Nandita Das, who is playing a crucial role in the film, has finished shooting her portions. The director terms working with the awardwinning actress a unique experience.
"She could instantly grasp what I wanted her to convey and the entire unit was sad on the last day of her shoot," he reveals.
