if once you were sad, you are now happy to know that you can be cheerful. you need to also know what it is to go through pain, smiling isn't the only hing one has to do after all!
so life seems fair when we looks from a positive point of view.

They say life is a tamasha, a show, that we witness but it is hard not to be involved. I believe there is a lesson in most things we experience, but at times the pain may be too much and best is to try and bargain with the Almighty perhaps.

I believe in Karma.. so our sufferings are closely related to what wrong we ever did. The equilibrium is maintained between good & bad and right & wrong.
As first comment mentioned, most of our sufferings come from our greed, and that starts from the very beginning of our existence, that's how creator made us. And there is a reason why has he given us brains, our sufferings depend on how we use it.

Yes indeed ignorance is the cause, our inability to see things in clear light.

Yes in life there is inequality and talent and capability differs from each. Creation is basically meant to be variety and richness in colour and experiences.
But sometimes we live in our own little world and fail to see anything further than the pond we dwell in. Perhaps there is a grander plan or none at all but everything keeps moving and evolving.

Yes our own mind connects us to this universe and in many ways it is our own creation.

Nice topic Summer...
This topic seems to have come from really deep thinking...that u suddenly penned it down here.

Life is full of unexpected happy/unhappy things!
Sometimes we ask some things from our creator, but we get those things in a very different way that we didn't even expect... so, i think a good judge of one's life is very rare... who knows if his/her life is fair or unfair!

I think God always wants our lives to be judged as fair...and so he also does fair things...It just depends on our perspective.
Here's something similar what a man asked n God blessed...

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life...
God said, "Rather, I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things."
I asked God to give me wisdom
God said, "Rather, I will give you problems to solve so you may become wise."
I asked God to give me strength
God said, "Rather, I will give you difficulties to make you strong."
I asked God to give me courage
God said, "Rather, I will give you danger to overcome."
I asked God to give me prosperity
God said, "Rather, I will reward you with the fruits of your labor."
I asked God to take away my pain
God said, "Rather, It is not for me to take it away, but for you to give it up."
I asked God to spare me pain...
God said, "Rather, Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and draws you closer to me."
I asked God to grant me patience
God said, "Rather, patience isn't granted, it's learned through tribulation."
I asked God to give me happiness...
God said, "Rather, I give you blessings. Happiness is up to you."
I asked God to give me favors
God said, "Rather, I will give you choices."
I asked God to make my spirit grow...
God said, "Rather, your faith will give you growth, and I will prune you to make you fruitful."
I asked God to give me love
God said, "Rather, I will send to you those in need for you to give your love to."
I asked God to help me love others, as much as He loves me...
God said, "Now you understand! Your love will shine through as you fulfil My Law."

Hello sis. In the path of devotion everything that comes along is accepted. In the jungle of creation a Guide is most useful.
Several familites have a member who is very sick and cannot lead normal lives, it does make us wonder ? why should certain kids suffer and if there were ways to help them we could try.
I believe compassion resides in all of us and for some they have to actively help the suffering at all costs and these are verily saints I believe.

Talking about Karma.. i believe in Karma, however, I dont think if we do wrong to others, we'll pay for it later. NO. Karma is all about what you make out of your own life... for example - if you procastinate - HERE, your attitude towards things in life changes, yu start taking things lightly , man by nature is lethargic..and if you continue and harbour that, your gonna end up in trouble. So, when time comes...when you have to GET UP and do the work , it becomes hard for you to finish it and you might find it difficult to even complete whatever you've been postponing, maybe once you'll be out of it, but not always... i hope you get what I mean?
everyone's responsible for their own lives, nothing is fair or unfair.. you get what you do.. 😆
Talking about world... yes, there's plenty of things that make me feel sad and cry. Why is there so much poverty, why do little children have health conditions when it's their parents who havent taken enough care of them, why so many murders, why male dominated society, why diseases, why are some people are blessed with good looks and why some arent, why do couples cheat on each other, why why why... the list goes on and on and on.. it's pointless to ask such pointless questions but, I cant help but feel sad to see the world where so many unfair, ugly, irrational things are happening..
all i can do is - just watch. But, my emotions always interfere!

Yes sis, there are much things that upset us. Guess we learn to accept and do our best for some. We can do whatever is within our means and capacity. But God watches no doubt and watches well and good.
Yes Karma has to play its part too and perhaps we can ask for a discount.
