Love is the most beautiful feeling in the world. To love someone is not a crime, but when the person whom you love is not interested in you, life becomes sort of hell.Yesterday, I read in a national daily about increase in acid throwing incidents in India.The major cause of such incidences is one sided love. A boy loves a girl, she does not reciprocate or she loves someone else , boy seeks revenge and most common method to take revenge is throwing acid. Even if the boy is caught, he just faces the charge of attempt to murder, which is 7 to 10 years of jail, or some fine or bot. But, the life of the girl is completely ruined, she can do nothing in life now . The eyesight is lost, face is charred and the surgery costs a fortune.
Ironically, if the same case is reversed, now the boy does not reciprocate, the girl would just sit and cry and shout, HE DOES'NT LOVE ME, HE LOVES SOMEONE ELSE. and I don't think any girl would ever go on to take a physical revenge from the boy she loves.
Aamir Khan should have told what to do or say if one faces such a situation. The pictures I saw in newspaper yesterday shook me, girls with completely charred faces holding their old photos in hand saying how pretty they used to be just left me crying. What happens after the incident is even worse, the culprit is eventually released and the victim's family lose everything paying for costly surgeries.
If the boy who claims that he loves you can push you into so much suffering, then I can't dare to fall in love.
