Chapter 8 : Uncontrollable attraction
Part 1
She was surprised and she was thinking " He will back to India tonight !! .. I think I should now do anything to apologize to him as soon as possible , I may never see him again, and my conscious will not be in pace if I didn't apologize and thank him .. What Should I do?! , and how I will make him listen to me ?! "
many Ideas cross her mind, but she didn't think any of them will work, till one Idea came, and she decide to do it although she felt its a ridiculous Idea! but its the only thing she could do !

It was 7 pm .. Khushi finished her work in the Cafe, and she take a taxi .. She didn't know the place exactly, but she remember that she saw a mall near that place .. she reach the mall, and get out from the taxi.. she walk to the near buildings, trying to identify the building that she was looking for .. Finally she found it ..
Its the same building that Arnav bring her to that day .. She enter the building, and she sat at the first stair, which allow her to watch every one who enter to and exit from the building ..
She was embarrased " I insult him for stalking me, and now I'm the one who stalking him !"
She was waiting for him .. After half an hour, she heard his husky voice , she rise her head to find him, and she saw him walking away from the elevator , talking in his phone .. She follow him silently ..

Arnav was talking to Akash, informing him that he will came back tonight .. he was near his car's parking, when he felt that some one behind him .. he turn to see , and he saw Khushi !
he look at her in shock for few moments , and then his expression change to anger !
Arnav: " I will call you later Akash ... What you are doing her !? I told you that I don't want to listen ?! you don't understand ?!"
Khushi confidently: " No I didn't understand, and you will listen to me !"
Arnav: " I will not, I will leave and you stay here and talk to your self " he say that and was about to open his car's door ..
Khushi run toward the car door, she want to prevent him from opening it , but she tripped and was about to fall " Ohhh"
He heard her and immediately turn to see her about to fall , he catch her by his waist and pull her toward him, her head rest in his chest ! he almost hugged her ..
Khushi was closing her eyes, and when she realize that she didn't fall, she open her eyes to see that her face was in his chest !
She raise her head and look at him, he was about to open his mouth to ask her " Are you OK !" but she didn't let him say any thing because she put her palm in his mouth ..!
his hand still holding her by her waist, and she putting her palm above his mouth, they were very close, but Khushi didn't realize how close they were, she just was focusing in her mission of apologizing ..
Khushi: " please listen to me .. I know that I didn't deserve that, and I also didn't deserve what you did for me that day .. but please !! ... I'm sorry, very sorry for what I said to you that day .. you was trying to worn me from that vile , but I insult you .."
She continue with a teary eyes : " I didn't want to go to him, and I decide to ignore him & his offer , but when Sonu tell me about the scholarship, I was afraid that if I ignore him, it will affect Sonu, and I know what this scholarship means to her ! .. I didn't even thought that he will ... he do that with me "
She look down feeling shame of herself ..
Arnav was staring at her, listening to each word from her , he felt that she her apologize was honest, and he like the fact she try her best to apologize to him, even she came to his resident place for that ! ..
he forget all what he told him self about about her and he forget all his plans to avoid and ignore her !!
Khushi continue: " I know its not an excuse for what I did .. I should know that he has bad intention .. after all he is a man !"
Arnav couldn't concealed his grin after what she said " She remember what Karan did, and ignore that I'm a man and I helped her .. Pagal girl " .. he thought !
He use one of his hand to move away her hand from his mouth , and he said while he was smiling :" You are unbelievable Khushi ; do you know that !"
Khushi saw him smiling, and she smiled and said : " did you frogive me ?!"
Arnav nodded .. and then he unconsciously return his hand back in her waist, and just then, Khushi realize their position ! she pushed his hand from her waist "gently this time" and take few steps backward ..
Arnav: " Emm .. I should leave now ! "
Khushi: " Wait .. Wait .. I didn't finish yet ! ... I also want to apologize for .. biting you, and I want to thank you for trying to help in keeping my secret; beside, I want to thank you for helping me in Glabal day when I faint ... And ..."
Arnav look at her wondering : " What the ...!! "
Khushi: " What what ?! I heard you saying that you will leave to India tonight ,so I thought that I should apologize to and thank you for all what you did !"
Arnav: " but you are talking as if I will leave for ever ! .. yes I will leave but I will back after a week !"
Khushi look at him .. she thought that he will not came back .. She didn't know what she felt in that moment! disappointed, or happy ?!
Arnav phone rang and it was Aman asking to came as soon as possible ! ..
Arnav: " Ok .. I should leave now ... take care , Khushi " .. he didn't know why, but he felt he want to hug her before leaving ..
Khushi: " Take care " she smile and walk away from him .. he was looking at her for few moments and then he enter his car ..

Part 2
Arnav was in the jet.. he was recalling what happens few hours ago ! Finally after 3 days of distraction and bad mood , he is happy now !
Although he convince him self previously, that avoiding and ignoring her is better for him, but he was feel that something missing ! .. his heart was pleading him to listen to her, but his mind was telling him that she will not bring anything to him except problems !
today he listen to his heart and forget every thing .. he didn't expect that few words from her will make him pleased !
He remember the way they were standing .. his hand in her waist, and her soft palm in his lip ..! he wished if something else from her was touching his lips, .. her lips or even her ... , he quickly shook his head .. he didn't know why he always imagine him self with her in an very intimate positions ! its became out of control thoughts and imaginations..
He also remember the way she apologize to him .. he also wish if he apologize for forcing her to kiss him in public which lead her to lose her image .. but in same time, he didn't regret that, at least she kissed him !!
he smile when he remember all the situation they goes through, and he felt al little bit sad, he will not be able to see her, or teasing her for a week !!

Khushi was lying on her bed .. She was thinking about this person, who in the beginning harms her .. but then he became her saver ! every time she need a help she found him !!
She still angry from his condition that lead her to lose her image , but she couldn't ignore that helped her a lot .. even today, he was angry, but still he save me from falling!
"he is not a heartless as I thought, maybe he is a little bit mean, but he is really Kind & good human ! "
She remember their position, and she wonder why she didn't notice that?! why she didn't feel of discomfort when they were very close ?! why ?! .. "Maybe because I trust him after what he did for me, he will not do anything bad to me, or trying to harass me ..!"

After 3 days ..
Arnav was sitting with his family in his Di's room , he was happy to see his beloved sister after several weeks. His happiness was at maximum level when he also saw his 3 days old niece ! he became an uncle ! ..
He was playing with the baby, he was involved with her !
Nani : "Chotte, you seem that you loved her .."
Arnav: " Ha Nani .. she is very cute .. I didn't thought that playing with babies will be nice, but playing with them felt very nice, a different feeling !"
Anjali teasing his brother: " So, Maybe now you will change you idea about marriage!"
Arnav look at his sister: " No .. I didn't yet change this Idea !"
Anjali: " Yet ?! .. nani did you hear him .. That means that he maybe will change this idea soon "
Nani smile to Anjali ..
Anjali raise her brow: "tell me Chotte, you didn't find any beautiful girl in US that attract you and you want to be with her?!"
Khushi's image cross Arnav's mind ,and he said: " No .. "
Nani notice some thing strange in Arnav's hand .. she took his hand to check it ..
Nani: " Chotte what is this ?! who bite you ?"
Arnav took his hand back, and look at the bite mark, he remember Khushi and how she bite him .. there is still a light mark in his hand ..
Arnav: " No thing Nani .. Just a cat bites me ! "
Anjali took his hand to see : " But Chotte, it doesn't look as a cat bite !! its look as a human bite!"
Arnav: " Ouho Di .. why you are asking too much, I said its a cat's bite ! .."
He goes & enter his room, he set in the recliner , he looked at his hand, more specifically, in the bite's mark .. he remember her, in fact , he notice that every thing around him remind him of her !
suddenly he remember Karan ! what if he try to harass and harm her again?! He knows Karan , he will not leave her alone ! he will do any thing to get what he want !
he was now very concerned about Khushi! .. he took his phone to call her, but he remember that he don't have her phone's number .. he was walking back and forth in his room .. " what I should do know ?! .. How would I know if she was fine ?! " He thought of calling Aman .. but what he will say !? to him ..
He couldn't set like that without reassure that she was fine and Karan didn't try to harm her again !!
he have only one solution .. he should return back to US as soon as possible ... and he will do it !

Khushi missed Arnav very much .. he is the only one who she could talk with in her situation .. he is the only one who could help and advice her now..!
She was shocked Yesterday to see Karan in the Cafe ! .. and not only that , her Shock increase when her manager told her that he is owner of 50% of the Cafe ..
She immediately resign from working in the Cafe !
She was scared ! he reach to her work place and buy it ! what if will do something else ! what if he try to hurt her sister or mother !!
She need at least to talk to someone , and of course she couldn't talk to any one except Arnav, who is the only one who knows about her job, and about what Karan did !!

Part 3
Arnav was in the jet .. he was planning to stay a week in India, but he only stayed three days ..
he couldn't stay anymore, his heart was not in pace ! he was concerned about her ..
He told his family that there is an important contract he should sign in US , and his family didn't argue with him a lot ..
He reach US at 7 pm .. he immediately goes to Viola Cafe, he want just to see her so he could be relieved ! ..
He was in the Cafe , he was searching about Khushi by his eyes, but he didn't saw her in anywhere in the Cafe ! .. he want to ask one of the waiters but he didn't ! ..
he exit from the Cafe, and he was in his car .. he didn't know what he should do know !
he goes to his apartment and convince him self that every thing is OK, and tomorrow he will see her in the university !

It was 6 pm .. Khushi was walking away from the university, She was planning to go and find a new job ! .. she couldn't set like that, she should find a job to help her mother ..
Arnav was disappointed , today also he didn't find her anywhere in the university .. his concern increase with each moment passing without knowing anything about her ..
he was walking toward his car's parking .. he was replaying some emails in his phone when he felt something collide by him .. he look at this thing and she was [Khushi]
Khushi was also checking her BB when she collide with him .. she didn't know that he was Arnav ..
She raise her head and said angrly : " Cannot you ..."
and she pause when she saw [Arnav] .. she was surprised to see him , she didn't expect that, it has been just 4 day since he leave !
Khushi smile : " Arnav?!"
Arnav was felt something in his heart when he saw her smile .. so she was happy that I'm back ?! he didn't expect her to be!
Arnav smiles ..
Khushi: " Why did you back ?! I mean you suppose to back after 3 days !!"
Arnav : " Ya .. but actually.. there is an important meeting, so I came back yesterday "
He lied to her , he didn't want to tell her the truth about his early return ! which was only "her"
Khushi look at him smiling, she felt there is something wrong ! they didn't see each other 4 days, and they was just standing, she didn't know what she want to do other than that!! However, Arnav knews what was wrong, he didn't see her for 4 days, he missed her very much, and want to hug her tightly, but he didn't ! because he knows Khushi and her limits, and will not take the risk of doing that !
Khushi felt awkward, they were silent for few minutes just looking at each other ..
She said : " emm .. I should go now! .. I should go to search for a new job ! "
Arnav: " What ?! .. a new job? did you leave you job ?! why ?!"
Khushi: " Ya .. actually its a long story .."
Arnav : " come with me you should tell me every thing !"
he said and held her hand and pulled her to his car .. and she didn't resist or argue with him .. Because she herself need to talk and tell him every thing ..!

They stopped near the nearest promenade .. they came out from the car, and walks inside the promenade .. moving toward the lake ! .. in their way, Khushi saw a seller, who sells a roasted peanuts..
Khushi excitingly : " peanuts !!" and she run toward the seller .. Arnav was smiling while seeing her running like a child , she look very innocent and cute .. specially with her lovely side braid !
She came back after 2 minuses with one pouch of peanuts !
Khushi hit her forehead : " Oh .. I forget to bring to you one" She turn and was about to back to the seller when she heard him ..
Arnav: " No .. actually I don't like it "
Khushi: " Ok ..as you like" and she start eating the peanuts with funny expression which show how much she was enjoying the peanuts ..
They reach to the lake, and they both leaned against the lack's fence
Arnav: " so tell me , why you leave your job ?!"
Khushi tell him about how she was Karan , and how she knew that he buy the Cafe ..
Arnav angert: " What the ... this Karan !!!"
Khushi: " I'm scared now ! what if he try to harm my family !!"
Arnav: " He will Khushi ! .. I'm sure he will do any thing to reach you ! .. he is a psycho! and when he want any thing, he do any thing to have it ! ,, and for your bad luck, you are the thing he want now !" Arnav clutched his fit
Khushi with a teary eyes : " What ?! .. What should I do know ?! "
Arnav: " ermmm ... You are looking for a part time job right ?! "
Khushi: "Yup! "
Arnav: " You should work with me .. in my company's US branch ! .. at least he will not dare to irritate you when when you are working .. and about the other things , we will think about it latter .. "
Khushi was touched by his caring & didn't know how to react : " OK !.. and thank you very much !" she make her self busy with eating the peanuts ..
A light wind crossed the air, and some of peanuts' peel enter Khushi's eyes ..
Khushi rubbed her eyes trying to make the peels out from her eyes , and when Arnav saw her , he moved and stood in front of her and he hold her hands to stop her for rubbing her eyes
Arnav: " wait ... "
he didn't give her any chance to argue or to reject; he grip her by her shoulders , and start blowing in her eyes .. She was closing her eyes, lost in the sense of his warm breath !
Arnav also was lost in her innocent and angelic face, he miss this face very much, !!.. his eyes moved to her pinky lips, that he dreamed of many times ..
he felt of uncontrollable attraction toward her lips that he couldn't resist , he unconsciously close the distance between their faces , he pause for a moment to check her face , and saw her quite ansd still closing her eyes.. then without any hesitant , and without thinking of the consequences of his action.. he clashed her lips with his' .. !!
