Chapter 9: Aftermath of the kiss..
Part 1 Arnav: " wait ... "
he didn't give her any chance to argue or to reject; he grip her by her shoulders , and start blowing in her eyes .. She was closing her eyes, lost in the sense of his warm breath !
Arnav also was lost in her innocent and angelic face, he miss this face very much, !!.. his eyes moved to her pinky lips, that he dreamed of, many times ..
he felt of
uncontrollable attraction toward her lips that he couldn't resist , he unconsciously close the distance between their faces , he pause for a moment to check her face , and saw her quite and still closing her eyes.. then without any hesitant , and without thinking of the consequences of his action.. he clashed her lips with his' .. !!
Khushi sense back to her when she felt something clashed with her lips, she immediately opened her eyes & shocked see that there is no distance between her, and Arnav's faces ! .. She quickly leaved the peanuts pouch to fall , and she riseed her hand to his chest and tried to push him with all her strength!! but his grip in her shoulder was stronger that he didn't move an inch away from her ! In fact, when he felt her pushes, he moved his both hands in her back and pushed her more & more toward him !
Arnav was out of his sense. he didn't realize what he did, he only focus in kissing her .. in licking & sucking these lips that seduced him since the first time they met, the lips that always in his dreams he play with and consume it ! and now, his dreams came true.. !
Although it was one sided kiss, but he never experience this strange feelings during his previous kisses ! It was more than a kiss! it was something more, something make his both body & emotions acting disorderly..!
In the other hand, after trying to free her from him, Khushi finally gave to him, she couldn't do anything except giving up.. She was shocked, she didn't know what happens , and how it happen and why this happens! She didn't react, she just lost in this new thing, the thing she never experienced before, and never thought she will! ,, this thing that cause to her a new physical & emotional effects.. she forget every thing,She couldn't think of anything !
Arnav free her lips from his after few minuses, and he recede slowly away from her face, he look at her, she was still closing her eyes, her face carrying strange expressions , and in the corner of her closed eyes, there is a tears !
Khushi realize that he free her .. she open her eyes slowly, she looks in him quite for few moments, and when She saw his hand move toward her eyes.. She retain all her strength and pushed him strongly away from her ! She look at him angrily, and she couldn't prevent the few tears from falling !!
Arnav realize what he have done after Khushi's push .. He felt bad and hate him self for what he did !
Arnav: " Khushi ..."
he couldn't say anything more because she run away ..

Khushi enter her room and close the door .. She set in the floor very angry , and she couldn't prevent some tears from falling :
" Even him has a bed intention !! " .. " He save me from Karan, and he did what Karan was about to do !!" .. " its my fault .. I trust him & forget that he is man!! " .. " I allowed him to cross his limits with me !!"
Khushi stand up in front of the mirror , and touched her lip :
" but Why I didn't react as I should ?!" .. " Why I lost my sense and let him do whatever he want ?!" ..
"Why I didn't kick him in his sensitive part and then he will free me ?!" .. " Why I couldn't react.. and why I wasn't my self ?!" .. " Why I didn't feel the same feeling of fear when Karan try to harass me?!" .. " why I felt strange feelings ?!"
She goes to the bath room , and watched her face :
"Whatever happened .. I will not show him that I'm weak and what he did affect me!" ... " I was unprepared and didn't expect him to do that, so he survived after what he did .. but next time , I will teach him a good lesson !! ... WHAT ?! next time ?! .. there will be NO next time .. I will forget him completely,as if I didn't knew him.. I will never trust him again , as if he didn't saved & helped me !!"

Arnav enter his apartment and through the keys angrily
" Why I couldn't control my self?!" .. " It haven't been one weeks since her & Karan situation , and I the advantage of the situation and kissed her without her knowledge ?!" .. " when she start to trust me, I broke it ! "
" But why some part of me happy with what I did although I knew the aftermath !" ... " Why I felt Unfamiliar feeling while kissing her ?!" .. " Why I wish now to kiss her again and again ?!"
" Whatever the reasons .. I will not let her go away from her ! .. I will not let us back to square one ! "

Khushi was walking With Ishu and Liza when she behold Arnav sight ! .. She was very nervous .. she tried to make her self busy with IShu and Liza .. Ishu and Liza noticed their nervous friend, and when they saw Arnav , they knew that she was nervous from her "boy friend" as they thought.. They wink to each other, but of course they didn't dare to comment in front of her !
Although Khushi planned to be strong, and to not let him even think that she was affected in any way, but all her plans was in vain ! When she saw him, she remember the kiss , and her strange feeling during the kiss! .. and she couldn't do any thing !!
Now, she change all her plans .. She will avoid him as much as she could ! .. Even today, she didn't go to Costa Cafe during her break ! because she knew that he will be there ! she claimed that she have some important assignments and she went to the Library !
Arnav notice that Khushi was avoiding him .. Although he cannot blame her, but he didn't like that ! and he will do something !

Arnav found a perfect chance to confront Khushi , he saw Khushi walking alone in one of the corridors! he was sure that she saw him, but she is pretending that she didn't !
When he was near her he said : " Khushi ! "
Khushi continued her way, without bothering to see him .. She was typing in her phone ! she passed from him !
Arnav held her by her arm and dragged her to the nearest hall !
Khushi was very nervous now , she didn't rise her head an inch, she still busy with her phone !
Arnav trying to hide his anger: " You can'not hear ?! "
Khushi: " I .. I was replaying some important messages !"
Arnav: " Did you finish ?! Can we talk ?!"
Khushi heart beat was shouting , she didn't know what he want to talk about ?! will he talk about the kiss .. Khushi pray to God that he will not
Khushi: " Y .. Ya .. speak , I hear you " still busy with her phone ..
Arnav take a step forward, and he put his hand in her chin and raised her head and made her facing him ..
Khushi was shocked did , she - mentally- prepared all the things she should say to him, and things she should do..
but all what she could do is looking at his lips , remembering what happened yesterday , and her cheek became red ! after few moment she look at his eyes, and pretend to be angry!
Arnav notice her red cheek, and he immediately pulled his hand back ! he want her to forget that Kiss " temporarily" so that she can behave with him a normal way ..
Arnav: " When I'm talking with you, look at me"
Khushi still silent !
Arnav: " I just want to give you the address of the company .. go there and meet Sara Adams, the manger of US's branch ! I talked to her about you, and she will help you "
He said that and leaved !
Khushi remember that yesterday he offer to her to work in his company, and she agreed, she forget that totally ! and how could she remember, her mind was busy with something else!

Part 2 She look at the business Card : " AR Group "
"Should I go ?!" .. " Should I work in his company after what he did ?!" she remember that he said that Karan will not dare to irritate her if she work with him .. She sigh and decide to go, She will do anything to get rid off this Karan !
She was about to exit from the hall and go to AR group when she remember something & stopped :
"
What about Arnav ! .. he kissed me ! .. how can I work with him ?! what if he try to do more if I worked with him ?! Isn't he is just like Karan ?!"
Khushi was very confused ! she didn't know anything, but she didn't like that she compare the vile Karan with Arnav !!..some part of her refuse to believe that they are the same at all , although Arnav kissed her against her will !!
She take a breath , and decide to go to AR group and throw all these thoughts and confusion behind her !

Khushi reached AR group, and the receptionist leaded her to Sara's office .. Sara's secretory leaded her inside Sara's office as she knew that she was " Miss Gupta "
Khushi saw Sara , She was a women in her 4th decade, she looks very professional and confidant !
Sara: "Welcome Miss Gupta .. Came inside .."
Khushi walked toward her and they shakes hands
Sara: "ASR told me about you .. you want a part time job right !"
Khushi smiled and nodded ..
Sara: "ASR told me that your still undergraduate students .. What is your major ?!"
Khushi:" Ya .. My major is Marketing .."
Sara: nice .. tell me in which time you could came here and work ?!
Khushi: " from 4 pm to 9 pm .."
They talked in few more thing about the job nature, and AR company polices and missions ..
Sara: "congrats Miss Gupta , you can do your job from now .. My secretary will lead you to your new office .. "
Khushi smiled : " Thanks you "
The Secretary toke her in a round in the AR group .. and when they reached to ASR office
the Secretary : " and this the office of our boss, ASR"
Khushi again remembered the kiss : " ermm .. did he came here ?!"
The Secretary: " mostly, he didn't came here, you know because his resident is in India .. even when he is here to US , he came her rarely, maybe once a week ! .. he trust Mrs. Adams very much, and he always says that no need to worry about US branch since Mrs. Adams is the Manager !"
Khushi sighed in relife and smiled : " Thank you very much"
They went to her new office , and the Secretary explained to her the nature of her new job ..

After Khushi goes out from Sara's office, Sara received a call from Arnav, Asking her if Khushi came or not , and if every thing was right !
Sara was a smart person, and that why Arnav trust her ! and because she is smart, she felt that there is something in Arnav head about this girl ! for the first time, he gave recommendation for an unqualified person to work in AR group .. and even he called her to ask her if every thing goes right in the interview ?!
Sara smiles and continue her work !

Khushi was setting in her desk reading the files that they gave her when she heard a knock in her door , she raised her head to see a very beautiful girl standing at the door , the girl looks teenager
The girl : " Hi"
Khushi smiled to her
The girl: " Can I came inside ?!"
Khushi: " Yes of course .. "
The girl enter and set in the chair
the girl: " you are new here ?! I didn't see you before!"
Khushi: " Ya .. its my first day here "
The girl smiled : " I'm Mandy "
Khushi smiled : " nice to meet you Mandy, I'm Khushi "
Mandy kept talking with Khushi, she was talkative girl, and Khushi liked her ! .. Khushi knows from her conversation with Mandy, that Mandy is Sara's daughter, she was 16 years old .. and he came her daily from her high school, because her father was in a business trip for 2 months, and her Mather here, so she came here daily & leave with her mother.. and actually she enjoy coming to AR and play with materials, and design ... Khushi also tell Mandy a basic thing about her self ! Mandy was 16 years old, but she was very smart just like her mother!
Khushi enjoyed her first work in her new job, specially the time she spend with Mandy ..

Part 3 Its Khushi's second day in her new job.. She was very happy today , her avoidance's plan work very well today ! .. She didn't see him at all in the university !
She was setting in her office when Mandy came and offer her to go with and have a snake .. Khushi agree because herself was hungry ..
In their way they were talking , Khushi was turned her face toward Mandy ., Suddenly, Mandy opened her eyes, and she grin and said " ASR!!!"
Mandy run in excitement and Khushi follow her by her eyes and she saw Mandy hugging Arnav !
She was surprised and disappointed to see him .. and in the same time, she felt something in her heart of the sight of Mandy hugging Arnav .. She stared at them for few moments and then she returned back to her office !

Arnav was eager to see Khushi ! .. he didn't saw her today, she hided very well from him ! but where will she go from him ..
he decide to go to his company today .. to check some transactions, and of course to see her !
He saw Khushi, and he stared at her for several moments , before Mandy jump on him and Khushi disappeared !
Mandy have crush with Arnav since she was 12 years old, She saw him as her princes, and every time he came to US, She stuck with him.. Now, she still have a crush, but she only consider him as her good friend !

Arnav like her , and treated her as his younger sister, but try his best to avoid her, because she was very bold with him! last year she pecked him in his lips ! although she explained to him that it was not more than a friends' pranks , but he was very careful with her and her pranks ..!
Arnav went to his office and Mandy followed him !

Khushi was in her office, try to make her self busy with a file which was in front of her.. She was upset , and she convinced her self that she was upset because she saw him .. but she knows very well that the image of Mandy hugging Arnav is what made her upset
She try to justified her distraction : " She is teenager, and sure he will deceive her!! .. What if he tried to ... to kiss her as he kissed me !! "
Khushi felt a grip on her heart, and she couldn't set like that !!
She took a random file from her desk and went toward Arnav's office !

She reach there, and the door was opened ! She heard Mandy's laughter .. She wanted to knew what they was doing , She looked from opening door silently , and she only could see Arnav's back, and Mandy hands around Arnav's neck !
She opened her eyes and mouth, and she was very angry from what she saw !
She open the door and run toward them, she pulled Arnav from his coat and then pushed him toward the Sofas with all her strength !
Arnav fall in one of the Sofa .. he was shocked to see her in his office, and he was more shocked from what she did .. Mandy also was shocked !
Khushi cupped Mandy face: " Are you OK .. Did he do any thing bad to you, did he tried to harassing you?! .. tell me .."
Mandy couldn't resist to laugh in the middle of her shock : " Khushi !!! " and she start laughing !
Khushi didn't know why Mandy was laughing like that !!
Arnav stood up , he was very very angry ..
Arnav in a sharp loud voice : " Mandy !!! .. Get out ! .. and You ! stay here!!
Mandy knows ASR and she knew that he could do any thing while he was angry .. she felt bad for Khushi ..
Mandy: " ASR plea..."
Arnav : " I said GET OUT!!!"
Mandy gave up, she dabbed Khushi's shoulder and went out from the office, she closed the door , but she decide to listen to what they will say! If it was necessary, she will interfere them to save her new friend from firing in her second day!

Khushi was praying to be saved .. She scolded her self for what she did !! she push the owner of the company she work in, in her second day, and also accused him of harassment !!, what was worse than that !!
She was scared and she couldn't face him , so her back was facing Arnav ..
Arnav: " Khushi !!! ... How dare you !"
Khushi didn't said anything and she was still in her position !
Arnav: " I'm talking to you damn it!! .. turn and talk to me !"
still she didn't react .. He walked to her angrily , he held her arms and made her to turn to face him ..
He saw her beautiful face, she looked scared .. She was closing her eyes tightly, just as when he kissed her, 2 days ago ... !!
