I teared up during the last love marriage episode. Rizwan's story was truly heart touching. May he rest in peace and the culprits suffer justice.

Except that it was a fake story created for political mileage and for consolidation of minority votes in West Bengal politics !!
Rijzwan's cousin sold the emotion to become a MLA.
Better preserve your valuable emotion for something better and know the reality.. For the sake of TRP, they have made our emotion a commodity.. we better not show it for some people who do not deserve it..
It is interesting to know who is authroising Amir to bring subjudice matters in his episodes and pass verdict on that..!! This guy should know he is just an actor and not head of Indian judicial system..

Huh!! where did you get that bit of inside info? Perhaps you should inform the CBI about this too, since they are still under the misinformed notion that this is a murder.

Chitrashi.. my friend.. I really do not want to say this to you but you really need to accept that despite your experince rich life.. you may not know everything. Do you know wiki can be edited by any one??
Just go to an authentic source (any news paper.. tv channel site will do but not crap wiki please).. It is from my state.. I know each and every detail of it. Despite every pressure from political power , CBI could not bring a murder charge in this case. They filed case for abetment of suicide and the that too is a pending case in court.. There never ever was a charge of murder at any point in this whole incident..
The version of murder only resides in the mind of some political party who politicised it to get minority votes and offcourse now we have another supreme judge of India Amir Khan..
there can be someone who knows a bit more than you sometimes..
PS: I edited my oringinal posting to remove direct reference of political party and leader from my post as I do not think it is correct to name them here.. However, I know each and every bit of this because I have been there in the ground following every political move personally when this happened - Life is black and white when read in internet but not in reality.

Just the quote in bold.

India is a democracy, Amir has the rights to voice out his concerns and what he perceives the problem to be. He repeatedly says that he doesn't want to make the decisions as they are reserved for the judicial system. Perhaps you missed those bits.

Btw, in a democracy, the people make the system. Amir is part of the collective people. Yes, he is a star with his own faults, it doesn't mean he has no right to voice his opinions. He is just more powerful than the average individual, so he can broadcast what he feels are problems that exist in India.
Every individual has a right to do this in a democracy.

Of course, this is a television show, so naturally, it banks on emotions.

Furthermore, no one has labelled Amir as the 'head of the Indian judicial system'; he hasn't either btw.

I am no Amir fan, for I think a lot of his charity work is just redwashing, but this certain show is bringing to notice a lot of issues.

This show is causing debate, much like this forum, which is GOOD. This is what a democracy is all about. This show isn't telling you "you have to adopt this view", it is causing debates and discussions to happen.
That is a good thing.
