I'm sorry if this has been posted already but did anyone notice that when Maina asks Rishi Dadhichi where Parvati is, he Plies, "Humne hi usse jungle bheja hain"

So Jungle is an english word - the correct terminology would have been "van" (meaning forest)

I know it's so minor but I just thought it was funny how they mix in modern day hindi with the traditional Sanksrit and now a little English too. I love it because I understand so much more than when I was watching Ramayana & Mahabharat where every two minutes I had to ask my dad, "what'd they say?"

Nope the origin of the word jungle is from sanskrit it found its way into English during british rule of India

it originates from the sanskrit word jungala which means un cultivated land
