I agree that unnecessary rudeness is never a good thing, but this is only a natural psychological defense mechanism to prevent herself from getting hurt again and from feeling powerless. Even the most balanced of women do become hypersensitive to harmless comments like how Anandi was today. They show "attitude" to men because of a deep-rooted fear of being called a flirt/characterless girl, since their honour means so much to them. In some cases, this is intensified if the woman feels a latent attraction/interest in a man, and does not want to feel that way, no matter how deserving and good he is. (Remember Suguna's initial behaviour towards Shyam?) The basis for such behaviour is broken trust and suppressed pain and loneliness. It takes a huge amount of courage to open yourself up again and trust people after such betrayal and pain. Can't wait for that day for Anandi! 😊
