Ch:10 (i)

Ch:10 (ii)

By the time the sobbing and grieving session was over it was dawn, Pinky took Geet with her and insisted her to take rest, Geet said, "I won't be able to sleep" Pinky smiled , "let's see" as she went out Geet decided to get ready to sleep, maybe she could. When she came out of the wash room dressed in a PJ, she was surprised to see, Maan lying on the bed with his eyes closed, she smiled assuming him to be asleep and lied beside him, and rested her head on his chest, in few seconds she was in deep peaceful sleep, he was awake as she fell asleep he encircled her waist and cocooned her between him and drifted in deep sleep. It has been years since these two souls had a peaceful sleep. They slept for hours and no one woke them, when Aryan tried to wake them Adi took him to the nearby park and then to the nearest Mc Donald's for lunch.

In was around 4 pm when Maan opened his eyes, at first he thought he was dreaming, but then realized that Geet his wife was sleeping in his arms not in his dreams but reality, he smiled, and kissed her hair, she stirred and hugged him tight, then suddenly she woke up and tried to sit, but he tightened his grip around her and closed his eyes, she thought he was asleep, she smiled as she remembered the previous incidences, she rested her ear on his chest and listened to his heart beats, then she turned to see his face, his eyes were still closed, she tried to get out of his grip but either he was too strong or she was too pale, she failed. She sighed and kissed his hand that was resting on hers and said, "Munna I will call you Maan, because it is your real name and it means pride, so I will call you MAAN" she smiled as she noticed a quick frown on his forehead, she smiled and continued, "Maan Singh Khurana and myself Mrs. Geet Maan Singh Khurana, wow it sounds so good, and so royal, you MSK and I GMSK, is it not wonderful" she wanted to laugh and she noticed him trying hard to control his anger, she added, "don't be angry MK after all Munna sounds like a name of a kid, and we can always call our child Munna, but only his pet name" she noted his frown turning to smile, she traced his lips and could easily feel his shock, she pulled out as his grip loosened, and said, "I know you have heard everything and you are not sleeping" saying this she ran to the washroom and closed the door.

Maan at first did not react, he felt so content seeing his old Geet erupt out of her shell, but then as soon as he heard her close the door, he sprinted and banged the door, "open Geet open the door" he could feel her smile, he rested his back on the door and said, "you can call me anything, whatever you will say will sound good crossing your lips, Geet I have been dying to hear your voice" listening again to the word dying she opened the door, the sudden movement made him loose his balance and as his back was resting on the door he fell down and not to say on our Geet, no you are wrong he lay on the floor and she lay on him. As they fell he had in seconds held her and reversed their positions as he was not able to stop from falling, they were face to face with each other in a romantic embrace. She had her face hidden in his chest. They would have lied there was another hour but were interrupted by a knock on the door and bang followed by a voice, "MAAmi I am back, Maamaa ji look what I have won in the game"
