This is very stupid of Star Plus not to back down. I hate this bullying and dictatorial type of management.

Here is the confirmation to Tellychakkar from Star Plus as per the article.

We have received a press release from Star Plus which read:

"Starting tomorrow, June 7th, one of STAR Plus' longest running shows, 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' will see a new face essaying the role of 'Gopi Bahu', the lead protagonists of the show; which has been played by Giaa Manek since its launch. The association with Giaa Manek has however been discontinued with immediate effect, due to unprofessional conduct and breach of contract from the actor's side."

Hmm…let's see how the drama will unfold further!!!

Let's see this is tellychakkar after all, we know we can never trust their news. But they say 7th June 2012. So lets just wait and see.

agree it will be better for them to end the show then to come with new face of gopi no yaar we veiwers has always seen gia as gopi we cant accept any other female to play gopi,if they any such a thing they will lose their trp which they have already done, and now they will lose popluation also!!!!

hahahaha...they are so out of their mind. Not only are they letting go of Gia but they are taking the rest of the crews jobs also. Sorry but with out Gia the show won't go on for long. SP and Rashmi you will be stupid if you let this happen. Actually, Gopi's real track is now just started. The story has finally turned the page with lot of new things to happen. I wonder if the pregnancy track is just for that. A happy ending????????????
