TOP 5 DRESSED AT KJO'S PARTY

last week, everyone's favorite bollywood producer/director hosted his 40th birthday with a bang. everyone and their mama attended the bash, with all trying to outdo each other with their designer duds. needless to say there were some major disasters (which we will get to later) and the usual suspects showed up looking faboosh.

:: karisma ::

i mean. really? talk about smokin' hot. karisma kapoor is one of my bollywood style icons and this look is one of the many reasons why. kareena's elder sister is on fire wearing a black sequined herve leger dress. this is one of the rare times a herve leger does not look tacktastic. the fit, the cut, the length is perfection. she accessorizes with louboutin peeptoes, a bottega veneta clutch and simple diamond jewels. the red on her loubies and nails provide the perfect amount of color. i love. i love oh so much.

:: kangna ::

kangna is another bollywoodista that has proven her fashion prowess over and over again. i am so obsessed with her shorter hair. if i had a thinner face and a thinner everything else THIS would be my look for 2012. kangna wears a lavender burberry gown which is business in the front and a party in the back. her belted gown has a high-neck, short puffed sleeves and a cut out back which rides dangerously low. she skips the jewels and carries what seems to be a mcqueen knuckleduster. that gorgeous face and short curls complete the look.

anushka sharma took a risk by wearing an edgy pantsuit by rohit gandhi and rahul khanna. i'm quite liking the suit, it is sleek with a dash of attitude via the glitter. anushka sports on-trend berry lips and matching nails. i would change the shoes though, i hate the ones she has on. also the clutch, perhaps something a little funkier.

:: tabu ::

i loved tabu's nonchalant pink maxi (and attitude) at the bash. the statuesque actress wears a simple hot pink dress with embellished shoulder straps by nachiket barve. a contrasting orange clutch by the designer adds an extra kick to an already colorful look. tabu isn't dressed as formally as the other chicitas but i love how comfortable and confident she looks.

there's not a full-length picture to be found on the internet but ya all are getting a pretty good idea of how bangin' deepika looks in her metallic gold prabal gurung gown, yes? deepika poses with the handsome designer wearing the same cut-out gown jennifer lawrence wore earlier this year. perfect hair, perfect makeup, perfect everything. how can you not love this.
