shadyhtown,it doesnt matter who sameer is ..or what his surname is...or whether his father indeed is a MD...i dont really want to know...i want all of us to give him a fair chance..let his singing speak for him...if he has something to fall back on so what?no sympathy votes...you know ,diwakar doesnt need it either...his voice is so beautiful 😊

He is from Mumbai, and his father is an MD. Does anyone know Sameer's last name? I think they have shown every contestant's surname, except for Sameer. Why not?

We don't even see his father or mother with him - he only comes along with a brother. No mention of his parents either.

And lest we forget, Sameer was the one who was included at the last minute, as the 22nd participant - after all the drama. Hmm... fishy.

Of course - it shouldn't matter who he is related to. What I'm concerned with, was his last minute entry facilitated because of who he was related to? Not that he didn't deserve to be there, but I just want to know how much of an affect his supposed relation would have on the judges - two of whom are singers who rely on MDs. The fact that it is being hidden is making it sound even fishier.

The main thing about Sameer is that he is only 11 yr's old and one of the best singers of the group. His father might be a music director, but obviously he must not be that famous for the media not to get caught up with that.
My issue with Armaan was that he was not that good compared to the other kids. Not the case with Sameer.
