Rats desert the ship 1st when it starts sinking

When the younger brother and wife of Gulabiyaleave the house this thought about rats and ship came to my mind and Hukum advices his wife Naganiya also to leave along with younger brother and his wife Lachmi but she does not wheras the ever spirited Sugni tries to find work to feed the house. Though the wicked Sarooj Thakurarin cheats her out of her hard earned money.😕

Sugni refusing Vik, if he offers work is somewhat really questionable. I mean she is willing to work for these thakurain and others who dont treat her well but if Vik offers her genuine work then she should accept it. Lets see what happens...

i dont think them leaving is a rats easy way out. i mean they have a baby to think of and things are NOT getting any better there!

Yes if Vikram just offers money or help she will refuse but if he offers her some work I think she will accept and Vikram also knows about her swaabiman self respect (dignity) as she already refused to accept 100 rupees from him when she dropped him half way

A person who has been brought up as a child and all his needs taken care of by his sister who did Rai and sardhakai was done for her and her money was used he probably got marriead also with her money now wants to leave her . He did not hesitate to use the money meant for her sickness also for himself he does appear a rat .He is again going for free loading in his in laws place could he not have asked for help from them for the time being and also taken care fof the family and his pregnant wife but no he left them to their fate and walked away.

Sugni tries to find work to feed the family but this grand fellows just walks off with his wife from the very place which looked after all his need the minute problems come and even Hukum was ready to send his wife and child away leaving Gulabiya and Sugni😡 to their fate but the 1st people who want to eat off them when things are ok

But I think considering the words that were exchanged the night prior to their leaving, it's understandable that they left.
