Watching todays episode, a thought came to my mind which was a newspaper letter I wanted to share with you about Indian serials yes I am a regular watcher of Indian soaps as I feel they are more colourful and picturerisation quality is better, settings are more vibrant to watch, and the fact that some of these actors and actresses are damn good. I love Gurmeet he is cool and a good looking person. 😃 Although some of the evil character I hate and in this serial it seems that Bua is the nasty one and needs to get a life. In Bangladesh most serials are more realistic and the artifical vilian character's are less. I do agree with the article about projecting such characters is not good for the society at large as our countries have many corrupted and crooked people already, so we should avoid showing evil people if we can.
Curse of Indian serials
It is a shame. However, many foreign channels like BBC, CNN and National Geographic Channel help us enrich our knowledge. But I don't understand how Indian serials help us. Isn't it a pure waste of time to watch these useless programmes? The time could be utilised with some more constructive works. These serials teach one to be vile and meddlesome about one's private matters. They also portray a negative image of women and vilify them for every disaster. But Bangladeshi women seem to enjoy it. Such is the unfortunate state of affairs. I ask everybody, especially women who are fond of Indian serials, to refrain from watching such programmes
