So the new Paridhi working track has made me curious about what people think TRUE feminism means. I took a class on feminisn last year and learned a lot of thinks about how many people view feminism as women being greater than men, women being given 100% independence without having any care for their family's wishes or concerns, it being required that women should work after marriage or else it's an insult to their self-respect, etc etc, which is not what feminism is about. True feminism is women having the freedom and independence to make decisions themselves, while at the same time giving respect to their dear ones' wishes and making a compromise that will make everyone happy. Feminism does not mean "my way or the highway" on the part of the woman.
So what do you guys think feminism means from the choices I gave? What decision do you think Prateik and Paridhi should take?
