I was thinking the same thing, they declare their love for each other. and then bang, she loses her memory and now Arnav has to make Khusi fall in love with him all over again. But this time she has all pulls on the strings, as she remembers all the bad stuff that Arnav put her through!

Another idea:

Arnav and Khushi have 3 months of bliss after declaring they love for each other.

During childbirth Anjali dies, and Khushi says she will raise the child as her own. Arnav thinks she is doing it because she loves Shaym not him therefore finally tells Khushi, that he is letting her go so she can be with Shaym forever. He thinks he has not got anything to live for therefore decides to leave Delhi for London.

But Khushi tries to fight Aranv in believing they should be together, he does not believe her love for him. He thinks she feels sorry for him, and pushes her away. So she challenges him to stay with her, she says that Anajali said that if anything ever happens to her would want Khushi and Arnav would have to take care of her baby, As Shaym would not be able to cope aand she would want him to get married again and have clear break. she believes that her baby should always feel she has got a mother and she could bear thought of anyone raising her child other than her brother and his wife. Arnav as he always does everything his sister, knows he has to fulfil his sister's last wish!
