My dear friends i know this post might upset some of you so i would firstly apologise to all of you whom i am about to offend...coming to the point this whole thread dedicated to which actress must play the part of Parvati started with the cv's announcement of the hunt for a new actress however my queries to everyone is being a female dominated forum have we no faith in an actresses ability to portray two paradoxical characters? Everywhere people mention that mata Sati and mata Parvati had different personalities but where's the logic in bringing a different female lead? Look at the shows in the west for instance Nina Dobrev is both Katherine the vamp and Elena the lovable and viewers love her. To be very sensible nobody in actual knows whether Sati and Parvati had the same face or not so why can't we give Mouni Roy a chance. If Mohit Raina while portraying Shivji's character can be seen in innumerable avatars why can't we readily accept the girl. Or are we just another lot of stereotypes for whom the central male character is predominant and the ladies can be changed according to the characters demand. This way are we not engendering super heroes along with their arm candies in the lines of our sacred mythological characters? Another point some people even mention that Mouni is not mature for Ma Parvati's role i believe she is 26 and she could make a sixteen year old Sati believable what more ammount of maturity do some people demand.
Friends sorry for the long bhaashan and am not even sure if Mouni herself is quitting the show or whether she is staying back but had to get this out of my system for as much as i love Mohit as Mahadev i think Mouni is equally good as Mata Sati and hope Ma Parvati...Har Har Mahadev
