White Feather Films' WOODSTOCK VILLA, directed by Hansal Mehta, will begin production on July 23 in Mumbai. Produced by Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Gupta, the film introduces Sikandar and Neha Uberoi in the lead. The other cast includes Arbaaz Khan, Boman Irani, Sachin Khedekar, Shakti Kapoor and Anupama Varma.
The film will be shot in a single schedule and is slated for a December 2006 release.

| SEX ON THE BEACH, one of the stories from DUS KAHANIYAAN, has been completed. The short film, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, stars Dino Morea and South African model Tarina Patel. The entire film was shot in Goa.

| So Naseeruddin Shah's Yun Hota To Kya Hota – What If has had a good start. However, this bit of news might be a dampener for Naseer. Uttam Gada, the man who had written the original script, titled Udaan, is livid. Apparently, Shah has changed almost 80% of the original script. And the final result is that, the movie comes across as cheap. What infuriated Gada further is that Shah has credited him. The scriptwriter does not want to be responsible for 'toilet talk' in the film. He wants his name to be removed from the credits.
To further prove his point, Gada has posted his script on his website, www.uttamgada.com, so that people can compare the two. In fact, Uttam Gada had expressed his displeasure when the film was being shot. However, he was told by Shah, that his work as a scriptwriter was over once he submitted the script. He has written a letter to Shah, voicing his anger on the issue. A well known name is the theatre circuit, Uttam Gada has written 21 plays, so far.

| Even after being in the industry for decades, Dev Anand's zest for film making hasn't diminished one bit. The actor cum filmmaker is planning a film on the Jessica Lal murder case. Titled Chargesheet, the script is ready. It will be shot in Mahableshwar. According to the filmmaker, his attempt is to deal with general societal issues. His idea is not just to get publicity, by making a film on a sensational case.
Currently, the filmmaker is busy with an international film, 'When Heartbeats Are The Same'. It is scheduled to be shot in Croatia and will have Indian as well as Croatian actors. Chargesheet will begin as soon as Anand completes 'When Heartbeats Are The Same'.
