Season 2 of the Laughter Champions which premiered on July 14, 2006 at 9:00 pm, burst through the TRP scales delivering a rating of 5.5 TVR in CS4+ HSM base, beating other shows in the Friday prime time slot.

Returning with yet another rib tickling season, the one-hour show featured the best comic talent from both Season 1 and 2 of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge taking television viewers to towering heights of frenzy and sheer delight!
