I think he just wanted nahar to rot in jail because nahar insulted his sister by marrying to chandni. He might be trying to stop saloni from bringing chandni coz chandni was the only hope to save nahar.

maybe he kenw that kakisa killed chandani and he joined hands with kakisa to take revenge on Nahar because he dumped his sister. That's what i think? Let's wait and watch what happens next?

Dheer is not invovled in Chandni's murder. Yes'day Saloni questioned him as to why he had burned the photographs and he answered that since Nahar broke his sister's dream he wanted to make him suffer. IF Chandni is not found then Nahar would remain incarcerated.
Hope that clarifies.

I think dheer has the ulterior motive over the property, since nahar or brigesh have heirs.
