I think they had to incorporate the 'kidnapping' track as a contingency track and wants to somehow finish it off to come back to the serial's original track or maybe it's a dig at the 'film'world...and somehow I feel their costume dept is hilarious...even the other day when they showed the PDA, the detectives were wearing hats...this used to happen in 70s movies where EVERYONE had a uniform...😆
