My early childhood passed in Ahmadabad and I did my schooling there only. I am currently doing my graduation from Ahmadabad itself. Though I come across as a shy or a quite personality because of the characters that I have played on screen but I m a very bubbly girl, like to chit chat, make friends, very energetic and emotional kinds, hyperactive. I m totally opposite to the characters that I have played. In my real life I am quite like a tomboy who enjoys playing volleyball, football and love carom, chess and like to sing, dance in my spare time and off course act. To pursue my acting dreams, I have not given up my studies and hoping to graduate soon. I m a big chocoholic and a shopaholic love watching movies I have an interest in world cinema am not much of a foodie love simple food ghar ka khana. That's all about me.

Personal Life:

Pooja Gor was born in Gujarat in the city of Ahmedabad. Pooja studied in A.G.School, Ahmedabad. Pooja's father Mr.Avinash Gor had done some Print Ads.He inspired Pooja to choose this profession.She consider herself lucky to have such supporting parents.Pooja's younger brother Naman has done a cameo role in popular show 'Gumrah'.The girl who was born with talent and was fond of acting, modeling and have always dreamt of becoming a model and actor. Her parents had noticed her skills at a very tender age on how she watched the actors performing and the way she understands their expressions. Her family his father is connected with modeling and this is how she was hugely inspired with modeling and acting.

At the age of 17 she finally prepared herself with the support of her family for participating in Gujarat inter college of Mr & Miss University competition held on and won 2nd runner up title. Later she participated in College Idol event organised by National institute of event management where she won herself 1st runner up title in Sep 2008. She worked hard in order to qualify & compete at national level for Mr & Miss University event held in Mumbai in November 2008 and went on winning the title of best photogenic face features and 2nd runner up for Miss University making her parents proud of herself. It was not later when she received a call from Ekta Kapoor MD Balaji Telefilms for screen test after she found her pictures published in a website of upcoming models. She got her 1st break in acting and was casted as second lead actress in Koi Aane ko hai serial telecasted on Colors. Later she had worked in Kitni Mohabatein hai on NDTV Imagine and modelling assignments for Kaya Skin Care and cover face for Sunrise Coffee. Following the popularity she bagged the role as a lead actress in Pratigya telecasted on starplus and the serial have received one of the highest TRP's leaving behind other famous and popular serials. Today Pratigya serial is been watched in almost every second household and Pooja is been called Pratigya where ever she goes on. She is a strong contender to win the best actress award in Star parivar awards...

December 2008 received a call from balaji telefilms and offered a role for acting in as a 2nd lead serial - kitni mohabatein hai as Purvi on NDTV imagine from January 2009 ? sep 2009 without any audition.



Sunrise coffee model 2009, Kaya skin advert model, 2009, 2009 dec got a lead actress role in the serial aired on star plus ?Pratigya, koi ane ko hai on colors as devika 2009. One of the biggest hit on the telelison with the highest number of trps leaving behing other famous and popular serials and actors.She has won Star parivar award on June 2010 for best new comer & Hottest pair of Star starplus.

In 2009, Pooja started her television career by bagging the role of Purvi Mittal, elder sister of Arohi Sharma, in Kitani Mohabbat Hai. In Early 2010, she started acting for Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya and in this serial she is playing lead role of Pratigya Saxena (later Pratigya Singh) with Thakur Krishna Singh. In this serial she starts with a role beautiful homely girl who help her mother and family. Her role is of a simple, peace loving, and respectful girl. In Krishna's family the men generally torture women and her role is like fighting against this oppression. Pooja was seen as a guest contestant on Kaun Banega Crorepati. She also participated in Comedy Circus.Pooja Also done some ramp walks&photoshoots.She has walked on ramp for some popular brands.Couple of month ago she walked ramp for Globus Clothing Summer Collection along with Sasural Genda Phool fame Jay Soni.Recently she has given poses for a calender along with some renowned actresses.
