I dont know why people are getting soo defensive and jumping for TM's throat. I have to agree with TM here. Sandhya's heavy make up and jwellery totally looked ridiculous in the last episodes( eventhough she looked gorgeous) . Why on earth a modern educated girl wear all that jwellery for a bus travel and dont tell me she didnt get 2 min to take that off!!!

And her acting can improve a lot but its not a show stopper for now, as they got a strong story and script!!

2 min is a very long time

if u hv follwed the epi u wud hv realised that she didnt even get 2 seconds after chabis engagement and was attacked by bhabo and sooraj bk to bk

during the trip she was in an utter state of shock

that time who will think abt jewellery

and the jewellery she wore wasnt that heavy either

geezsome people really need to get a life

Makeup is ok...they need for camera ...but yes jewellery she had intact for the entire bus journey and after was really pinching me...especially her maang tikka...that really made everything quite artificial for me.

Geez... I am not the one crying for the mods coz someone critized the make up and jwellery of a fictional character!!

Dude, calm down. Someone just made a simple comment regarding a CHARACTER's makeup (nothing against an actress). There have been much worse topics on the forum. But agreed with the person above, if having different opinions and expressing them is wrong on this forum (funny enough, a lot of people on this site seem to have this notion), then sure, let the mods close the topic.

She Never Looked Over done with the Make -Up and Jewellery or Sarees.

. People Might say What an Educated Gal Prefers All those ? U are Right , She is Educated that the Reason She understood their culture Following her in-Laws Traditions and Ghar Ka Lakshmi Meaning . In some houses Gals do wear like Specially in Houses where they Follow Strict rules on Rituals . Sandhya Rathi is From a Traditional , Upper Middle-Class Family. Her Family is conservative and they see Gals as Laxmi Devi , They Welcome Sowbhay to house , Not so Dulled without any Ornaments .

Her Make -up is Light one Always , her Jewellery is Nothing , Just one MSutra and a Matching Bangles , Ear Rings , Necklace.

Thou Whatever She Wears , My concentration never gone too much on her Ornaments. I feel Whatever She wears they wont Beauty to her inturn She gives Beauty to them . My compactness Always moves only on her Expression and the Language She Communicates with her Eyes and her Gentle Expressions !!!

Hi Juhi and others,

I never said Sandhya doesn't look beautiful. What I said was she doesn't need heavy make up 'coz she is naturally beautiful. Somehow I didn't understand why that became 'rubbish' that can't be written here.

There are several reasons I said that the makeup was heavy in certain occasions.

1) when you cry, kohl is the first thing that runs out. I have never seen this happen which seems a bit unrealistic.

2) On my high resolution screen, many times I have seen that the powder on her face was different from the rest of her body giving her a different complexion. Same thing in rain episode. It looked very patchy.

3) After a major hungama and a lot of whining at home, I could never understand how she manages to come out so fresh and doll-like right in the next minute wthout any trace of the burden or tiredom .

4) I am someone who likes simple makeup and simple jewellery especially if the protagonist is as beautiful as Sandhya.

So my comment was a combination of my preferences and the need for realistic appearances considering it is a village drama.

As per her acting, I mostly find her expressions indecipherable. But that's just me. If others' expectations are met already or I am incorrect, that's fine with me. I am never so blindly in love with anything that I quit looking at it objectively, I know it's my problem.

Jeez, I would have never written this if I knew I will have to explain such a trivial thing so much.
