CHAPTER 5

"chotte mein tumse kuch kehna chaahti hoon .."

"haan di boliye.."

"Voh chotte..."

"Haan di"

"Chotte tum doosri shaadi kar lo"

"Di yeh aap kya keh rahe hein??"

"Chotte hum jaante hein aapkeliye Khushiji ko bhoolna itna asaan nahi hein. Par mein dil se chaahthi hoon ki tumhare zindagi mein khushiyan laut aaye"

"Di nahi di aapne theek kaha , mereliye Khushi ko bhoolna asaan nahi hein aur naa hi mein use bhoolna chahtha hoon. Di ab Khushi hi meri zindagi ki sab kuch hein. Aur aap jaante ho di maa aur aap ke alava mein kisi aur aurat pe bharosa nahi karta tha aur naa hi kisi aur mere dil ke itne kareeb the.. par Khushi ne pata nahi kaise khud keliye mere dil mein jagah banaliya. Ab uska jagah koi aur nahi le sakta"

"Par chotte ek baar hamare baat.."

"nahi di ab aap please jaayiye aur khaana kha lijiye. Please mujhe akela chood dijiye DI. Goodnight."

"Theek hein chotte. Good night."

Anjali went down defeated. Not that she was against Khushi , she just wanted her brother to be happy. Now after seeing her brother's reaction to her proposal she felt bad thinking that she should not have said that to him. Par jo ho gaya so ho gaya. She could not ammend the past now.

Arnav was now talking to Khushi's photo in his hand. He was sitting in the bed.

"Khushi DI chaahthi hein ki mein tujhe bhulakar doosri shaadi kar loon. Par tum hi batao kaise. Tum jaante ho na ki mein tumse kitna pyaar karta hoon. Mujhe poora yakeen hein ki tum vaapas aaoge mere paas hamesha hamesha ke liye. Aaoge na Khushi???" and he dozed of hugging her photo.

Khushi was not able to sleep. Whenever she closed her eyes the could see images of Arnav flashing in her head. She felt that he was longing for her. But no what about all the pain he had caused her. She cant forgive him like that. She was Khushi Verma and she had her own reasons for not forgiving Arnav Singh Raizada.

The next day passed very soon in Shanthivan as the last minute preperations were going on in full swing. It was finally the day of the shaadi. The baraat arrived. Arnav, Arjun and Khushal shared some time together before the rituals began. Everything went on smoothly.

Anjali and Arjun did the pheras. Arjun tied the mangalsootra around her neck and finally filled Anjali's maang with sindoor. Arjun and Anjali were married. She had become Mrs. Anjali Arjun Malhotra.

Finally it was time for her bidaayi. Anjali hugged all the family members and also Riana. But again Arnav was missing. Khushal offered to search for him and Riana accompanied him. They headed towards Arnav's room.

Arnav came with a gift in his hand. He offered it to Anjali and asked her to open it after reaching her new home

"Aur Arjun mere DI ka khyaal rakhna."

"Arnav mein jaantha hoon ki tum Anjali se kitna pyaar karta hein. I promise you use hamesha kush rakhunga"

"Aur chotte tum apna khyaal rakhna. Humne kal jo kaha tha uske liye hume please maaf kardo"

"DI voh mein kabka bhool chuka hoon. Aap bas hamesha kush rahiye. Mujhe aur kuch nahi chaahiye"

Anjali and Arjun left. Arnav stood there heartbroken. If only Khushi was here he would have felt better, she would have made him feel better.

Khushal and Riana reached Arnav's room. The room was dark.

"Shayad ASR yahan nahi hein Khushal. Hume chalna chaahiye"

"Ek minute Riana hume dekh lena chaahiye" saying this Khushal turned on the lights just to get the shock of his life😲

It took some time for both Khushal and Riana to recover from the shock. The walls were adorned with photos of his sister Khushi and his best friend Arnav. Both were so close to him.he knew that both of them had an awful past. But he never knew that both of them were linked to each other. Maybe even they didnt know. Now he could connect everything.

Arnav didnt know that Khushi was his sister whereas Khushi knew and that is the reason why she managed to escape this trip.

"Iska matlab Arnav ne meri behen ki zindagi barbaad kar di. Mein use zinda jala doonga"

"Wait Khushal dont get too emotional. Tum jaante ho na ki Arnav apne patni se bahut pyaar karte hein. They had a misunderstanding and he had been repenting for years"

"Yeah you are right par... Khushi"

"Khushal I know you are very much concerned for her even I am par mujhe lagta hein we should talk to both of them. At least indirectly. Hum yeh bhi jaante hein ki Khushi doosri shaadi ki baat taalte aayi hein . Shayad voh abhi bhi Arnav se andhar hi andhar pyaar karte hein. We need to talk to Arnav par use yeh mat batana ki hamari Khushi hi uski patni hein"

"Hume Arnav se abhi baat karna chaahiye"

"Arnav se kya baat karne ke bare mein decision ho raha hein???" Arnav asked as he entered his own room

"Tum dono mujhe dhoondne aaye the aur yahi reh gaye"

"Arnav mein tumse kuch poochna chaahtha hoon"

"Pucho kya baat hein!!"

"Arnav hum tumhari shaadi ke baare mein jaanna chaahthe hein"

Arnav paused for a while.

"yeah I know meine tumhe kabhi uss bare mein kuch bataya hi nahi . Aaj mein sab bataunga"

Arnav told them everything from those days when he met Khushi for the first time in Lucknow. How she ended up working for him in office at home and then how he fell for her. How he had misunderstood her on that fateful day and how he had treated her ater marriage. How she had told him the truth and how he had refused to believe her. How she had left after the 6 months and how he had come to know that she was innocent on the next day after she left.

"Meine use poore Dilli aur Lucknow mein dhoondha pata nahi kahan gayab ho gayi meri Khushi. Par ek din mein use dhoond nikaloonga aur use vaapas apne zindagi mein le aaunga hamesha hamesha ke liye"

"Mujhe poora yakeen hein tumhe voh vaapas mil jaayenge" Saying this Khushal went out of the room before Arnav could say something.

Riana just followed Khushal to their room and locked the door.

"Tumhe kya lagta hein Khushal???"

"mere Khushi ko itni dard se guzarna pada par.."

"Par kya Khushal???"

"Mujhe lagta heinn ki Arnav ko ek mauka milna hi chaahiye. He is feeling really bad for what he has done for her. Isliye meine usse aisa kaha. I need to talk to Khushi about this. Voh kya chaahthi hoon voh jaanne ke baad hi mein Arnav ko yeh pata chalne doonga ki uski Khushi aur meri Khushi ek hi hein"

"Haan Khushal yehi theek rahega. Ab chalo so jao kal subah vaapas Mumbai bhi to jaana hein"
