I decided to do a post after weeks. I am once again "inspired" by the current track!
Yes Arnav is missing, but you have to give it to the CV's! They are keeping us guessing! Now they have got Khushi and Manorama bonding over their love and concern for Arnav! We all know that Manorama loves her nephew and niece. She loves her family. This is her most redeeming quality and most endearing one as well! THIS is the reason that Arnav tolerates all her high-jinx, coz he knows she has a good heart underneath her overbearing manner!
Khushi's current state of mind reminds me of a song by Melissa Etheridge.
I wanna come over, to hell with the consequence.
You told me you love me, that's all I believe!
I wanna come over, it's a need I can't explain
To see you again'.
This was the perfect track to make Khushi realize the strength of her feelings for Arnav! IPKKND in contrast to other shows had a way of concentrating on the male lead and his feelings! This show has predominantly been about Arnav and his feelings, and his emotional struggles! That is one of the most refreshing angles of this narrative!
However... Lately, we are getting to see Khushi's feelings a lot more! She has finally realized the meaning behind all those "Half statements" that Arnav made to her... Including the "Halfway abandoned kiss"!
So THAT is what he meant by "Farak padata hain dammit kyon ki'... The end of that sentence is "I love you Khushi"!
Finally, our Arnie expressed his feelings, and I guess we have the kidnappers to thank for him being pushed to do so! We do know that Arnav was about to leave the airport and go back to Khushi! So it's sad that just when he was about to give into his feelings, a spanner in the works was introduced! However, ANY hesitation he had about expressing his feelings went away with his life being in danger! I think his need to express his love for Khushi is what will save his life in the end!
Love will save him! Literally!
As for Khushi... I think she has finally realized that the feelings that she has been trying to "Decode" that she feels for Arnav is "Ishq"! She is in love with "Laad Governor"...
"Shayad Yeh Nadani Hum Kar Baithe"... That was a beautiful line from Khushi's monologue last week when she was missing Arnav! Take a bow whoever wrote those lines!
On a total aside: I want to see ARHI being all lovey dovey in front of the Snake once they reunite. I want Snake to SUFFER watching them together! They should be all over each other in front of him! Tons of PDA is in order!
