CHAPTER 4

"Arnav are you ok???". The sound broke Arnav's spell. He turned around to see a concerned Arjun standing there beside him.

"Arre Arjun tum... tum yahan kaise???"

"oye hello hero, kahan kho gaye ho aap??? Aaj yahan pe mere sangeet ke rasm chal rahe hein, mein yahan nahi honge to aur kahan honge???"

"Sorry Arjun mein .. voh.."

"Khushi ki yaad aa rehi hein na???"

"voh.."

" I know sab theek ho jaunga.."

"Mera dil keh raha hein ki voh mere aas paas hi hein.. par kahan???"

"Dont worry Arnav hum usse zaroor dhoond nikalenge.. pehle mere shaadi ho jaane do uske baad hum dono milke usse dhoond nikalenge voh kahin bhi ho kis desh mein bhi ho mein use tumhare paas le aaunga"

"Thanks Arjun"

"U R welcome dude. Ab chalo apne behen aur dost ki sangeet attend karo"

"tum jaao i'm just coming"

Khushi was thinking of plans to avoid going to Delhi. Shecould not present it directly since they would suspect. She had to plan things smoothly to get herself out of the situation. She thought and thought and finally gave in accepting defeat. She would have to face her LAAD GOVERNOR . She went down from her room to have dinner.

"Rishi stop running beta tum gir jaaoge. Khaana khalo beta." Riana was running behind a superfast Rishi.

"Mamma nahi mujhe nahi khana"

"Khushi tum idhar aa jao. Hum dono kha lete hein. Inke intezaar karoge to bhuke mar jaaoge" Khushal spoke up from the dining table.

Khushi smiled and walked towards her brother going past her running nephew and Bhabhi.

Suddenly she heard a crashing sound and found herself running towards Rishi who was crying at the top of his voice.

"Rishi beta meine kaha than a gir jaaoge. Ab dekho kitna khoon nikal raha hein" Riana said in a concerned tone while Khushal called for the doctor.

"Bua , mujhe bahut dard ho raha hein" Rishi cried hugging Khushi. He was really close to her heart.

"Nahi Rishi beta. Sab theek ho jayega. Ro mat beta. Bua hein na tumhare saath." Khushi replied hugging Rishi

Doctor came and Rishi was bandaged. Khushi sat with him made him eat dinner and made him sleep. She got an idea.

"Lagta hein ki Devi Mayya bhi yehi chaahthi hein ki hum vahan na jaaye. Mein keh doongi ki Rishi ki tabeeyat theek nahi hein aur isliye hum dono yahi rehenge."

She had made up her mind and at any cost she would stay here.

It was Saturday morning and Khushi was in Rishi's room when Khushal and Riana entered. Khushi had by now convinced Rishi on not going to Delhi and Bua's laadla had agreed to her.

"Khushi tumhaari packing ho gayi kya???" Riana asked

"Bhabhi kaisi packing???"

"Arre hume Anjaliji ke shaadi mein jaana hein. Aaj sham ka flight hein"

"Par bhaiya Rishi ki tabeeyat theek nahi hein mujhe lagta hein ki sirf aap dono ko hi jaana chahiye. Mein aur Rishi yehi rahenge !!!"

"Paapa mujhe nahin jaana nahin jaana nahi jaana. Mein aur bua yehi rahenge."

"Par beta kyun. Tumhe ASR se milna heina"

"Nahi nahi nahi.. hum kahin nahi jayenge. Hum unse phir kabhi mil lenge"

"Theek hein tum dono yahi raho jaise tum dono ki marzi." Kushal said as they walked out.

Khushi thanked her Devi Mayya a lot for helping her out of the situation.

Khushal and Riana left for the airport in the evening. Arnav was at the Airport to receive him.

"Mere di ki DESIGNER nahi aayi kya aur Rishi voh kahan hein?"

"Kya karun yaar ASR Rishi ka tabeeyat theek nahi hein aur isliye voh dono nahi aa paye"

" Mein un dono se kabhi nahi mila na isliye milna chaahthe the!!! Ok now lets go"

They reached Raizada mansion. Shanthivan was not much decorated since the marriage was a low profile one. Only close friends and relatives were there. The guptas , Raizadas and some very good friends of Arnav, Arjun and Anjali were the only ones invited.

"Aayiye beta , kaise ho aap??? Bahut suna hein aapke baare mein aur aaj aake milne ka mauka mila hein" Naaniji asked Khushal as he entered with Riana and Arnav.

"Naaniji mein bilkul theek hoon"

"Aapka beta nahi aavat hein kya??? Aur aapki behen???"

"Ji voh Rishi seediyon se gir gaya tha aur sar pe chott lagi hein isliye voh dono nahi aa paye!!!"

Khushal and Riana were then introduced to other members of the family. Payal never knew such a brother existed for Khushi. Only Shashi Gupta had known that apart from Khushi all these years and hence Payal never thought that way around. Khushal and Riana freshened up and came down for dinner. All the family members except Arnav were present.

"Arnav kahan gaya???" Khushal asked.

"Khushalji lagta hein chotte uper apne kamre mein hein. Mein dekthi hoon"

"Ji Anjaliji"

Anjali went upstairs looking for Arnav while Khushal and Riana got into a conversation with the family members.

Arnav was in his room looking at the numerous photos of Khushi pinned to the wall. He had tears in his eyes. Anjali entered which went unnoticed by him.

"Chotte"

"Di aap kab aayi??"

"Hum abhi abhi aaye hein chotte. Sab niche tumhare intezaar kar rahe hein"

"Di mujhe bhook nahi hein. Aap sab kha lijiye. Mujhe nahin khana"

"Chotte mein jaanti hoon ki tum Khushiji ke"

"Nahi di.."

"Chotte humse jhoot mat boliye aap...hum jaante hein.. tumhari aankhen pad sakti hoon mein.. mein sab jaanti hoon .. par chotte mein tumse kuch kehna chaahti hoon .."

"haan di boliye.."

"Voh chotte..."

"Haan di"

"Chotte tum doosri shaadi kar lo"
