Our Anandi definitely has some prejudices - preconceived ideas about Shivraj... not because of his behaviour, but cuz of Jagiya's years of abuse. Modern Shiv stood up against BV practice, insisted on equality at the dinner table, and is by the book... but, she doubts if this seheri babu is genuine article or a snob in shirt-pant. This was reflected so far in her disbelief about whether he would ever wear dhoti-kurta and in her surprise at his willingness to help push the bullock cart. Am sure there will be further prejudices/preconceived ideas that Shiv will have to drain outta her psyche before she is able to appreciate what a great guy he is.
- I wonder what other hangs ups she has projected onto Shiv thanks to Jughead's years of brainwashing?
- I hope they heal all her wounds through this track... also I want Shiv to gradually learn about all of Anandi's efforts.. the bullet, phooli's baby, gulli's eve teasing, adult literacy, asha's remarriage... Everything and I want him to learn about it organically not from Daadisa
So, by the time he proposes - he's PROUD not of himself but of his ANANDI - our Anandi 😳
