Guys dont kill me for opening this thread, I am only seeking your opinion
I am a devotee of Mahadev and Ma Shakti. It pains me to see him in this state. All of us love Sati and all of us know that Mahadev was shattered at her loss. But is it right to show the Lord in such a humanistic state of grief? Can the Lord ever forget his lordly ness? I am ok with showing grief and sorow , but his lying on sand and all isint it a bit too much? Mahadev and Maa Shakti believe in sacrifice. Mahadev agreed to drink poison for mankind. Maa Shakti sacrificd herself time and again for mankind. Is it right of the CVs to show Shiv so much lost that he has totally fogotten that he is God.

i do feel they are making it a wee bit too dramatic to be honest..its all about interpretation...considering the way they have gone with the story till now-thier interpretation of Shivas character-hes shown to be emotional, and his love for his Shakti is shown to have had no limits at all...hence he in his grief did a Tandav, let Veerbhadra and Bhadrakaki on the loose, and roamed with Satis lifeless body all over the world, forgot ...so it would be a bit odd for him to be all normal once,so showing him grieving and sad is alright! His love for his Shakti really is that powerfull, she was his Ardhangini-its almost like he lost a part of himself!
but i agree the laying on the sand etc seems a bit too filmy-reminds me of Salman Khan in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam-i can almost here "tadap Tadap" in the background😆...i found it a bit too over dramatized...Mohits doing a brilliant job no doubt...but i agree with you!

yes absoulely he did grieve. And he roamed around with her body. Thats ok. But lying on the sand and all...the lord lying on the ground behaving like majnu? Gosh who will run the world. I want him to go to kailaash now amd go into deep meditation

You know our scriptures preach that one should not have moh or attachment with the body and bodily relations. One should do ones duty with detachment. Though this is a very difficult thing for us humans to practice. But virakti that is detachment amid attachment is what shiva teaches. It is said the real relation is not of the body but the true relation is between the soul and thd lord. What will the poor souls do if the lord will behave this way

As a matter of fact yes..I kind of feel they are exaggerating it to some extent..but if u recall..mohit and the CVs have mentioned that there will always be that element of bringing out the 'human feelings' of Mahadev in the show..so..probably thats why.. but yeah..it is kind of being overdone..thats why i decided to skip watching a DKDM episode for the first time yesterday..🤔 nevertheless..we all love the show and it's bound to go through such ups and downs..😳so we'll wait and watch
