2 Dolls and a Handbag

Did Bhabasa save Sandy's life? That phone call. He must have told her something that made her leave the bus? Did he tell her Bhabo is missing her? He wants her kadhai kachchoris?

Let me rewind. SurYa in the bus. Suraj takes out the two dolls he has packed in Sandy's bag and presents them to her as tokens of their 'relationship'. He associates Sandy with those dolls a lot. His imaginings of her smiling in their room involved the dolls too, if you recall. Those dolls should never part, even if these living dolls do (okay Sur as a doll is stretching it, but stay with me).

Next he pulls out a phone and gives it to her for emergencies. So now that little puzzle of why he took a second look at the phone Dilip gave Chavi is solved'. Does giving a phone have some 'love power'? NO. It just gives Bhabasa a chance to call his ladli Sandy. About now, I realise that Sandy is handbag-less. That wretched bag has been disposed of. The one that caused so much angst. The one that held the seeds of destruction. The one that had been sponsored by IPL.

Suraj gives his shubhkaamnas. Sandy does her dhanyavads. She gives him one doll. This was just for old times sake. She would pray that he has all happiness in life. With just one doll? I don't think so. Bus is filling up, Suraj drags himself away from her and out of the bus. Sandy asks herself why she feels weird feelings. Meanwhile my mind has jumped to the hut.

Suraj tells himself he needs to get away and so, clutching the doll, he tries to leave. But he wants to be with the real doll, so he hot foots it to ticket booth and then to bus. Crawls around in there and manoeuvres himself to a spot just behind her and thinks he can watch her all the way to Jaipur. But Auntyji has seen his suspicious behaviour. My mind fast forwards to the hut scene again.

Bus lurches to a stop. Suraj decides he needs to inform gharwale that he's going all the way to Jaipur with his Mrs. So he gets down and goes to the shop, makes the call, gets delayed by a guy asking directions. Other brakeless bus comes and collides with this one and explosion.

'Sandhyaji!'

I'd lost interest here coz, we've had umpteen promos that she's fine. Suraj just go to the hut. Auntyji is waiting. Oh and Sandy too.

In an interview, Deepika said that Sandy 'accepts his love' That sounds so cutely imperious. I think from now on Suraj will be on the back foot a bit. He has a lot to do to woo her. Just an ILU isn't going to cut it.
