Episode starts with Divya/Jogi talking and Nani listening to them outside the room.
Jogi is telling Divya that he met Damini accidentally, but I didn't tell you because I promised Damini. Divya said you forgot the promise we made when we got married about not hiding anything from each other?
You remembered the promise to Damini, and forgot the promise between us? Then she says, it's probably my fault that you don't trust me anymore... but just let me know what my fault is?
Jogi says, you're thinking wrong. If you were not with me, I probably would not even have been alive now. You've been a great wife to me.
Jogi says I couldn't take this house's responsibility that's why we're all in this condition.
Then he tells her about going to Mukta's friend's house to stay thank you to them after his discharge from hospital. He says I went there and found Damini and Kanha and found out that Meethi is Icha's daughter and is Mukta's friend. Divya is shocked and remembres the past with Icha-Tapasya friendship and then Jogi kicking Taps out of the house.
Jogi says even then Damini didn't tell me that she's helping me. The bank told me that.
Those we thought were our close relatives, drank our blood like leeches, and those we pushed away thinking they were strangers are still helping us and worried for us.
He says I was going to say all this to you today but when I found out about Pushkar I was enraged.
Thankfully this house is still in my name (I can't wait till he finds out it's mortgaged!). He says I want to put all my 'jayedad' in Mukta's name.
Mukta comes in the room at that point.
Jogi says I'll fix everything!
Divya says I'm with you in all this throughout.
Veer in Library looking for old newspapers. Someone in the Library sends him to another rack saying 18 yr old newspapers are in there and we'll close at 1 pm today - there's only 20 minutes to go so Veer is panicked and hurrying up. He's holding a bunch of newspapers and reading the ones on top, while the bottom one has news of Icha's arrest and jail.
Mukta asks Jogi/Divya why they're so worried? She says I know we're not financially well, but why are you so worried? Divya/Jogi are both relieved to see that she's thinking in those terms. But Mukta says I know you guys are hiding something from me.
Mai calls Veer and and he drops the newspaper which has the news. He's panicking that there's only 5 minutes left for the library to close and is searching more newspapers frantically. Wind blows the newspaper away. He tells Mai he's in the Library and she's worried what's he doing there.
The librarian tells him he's closed but he'll give Veer 5 more minutes. Veer's ring falls off and rolls over to the same newspaper that went under the racks. He picks up the newspaper with the ring and sees the news that Icha was jailed. The photo has Icha's face covered. He finds out she was jailed for 14 years. He says it's been 18 years, so Icha would be released by now. I would find her.
Jogi says I'm not hiding anything from you. It's just that I'm thinking of going back to work and I'm a bit nervous about it. Mukta says I'll help you after college, and we'll fix it together.
Jogi says I'll find a great guy for her to get married.
Aman and friends in college. Meethi and friends are passing by. One of Aman's friends calls one of Meethi's friends and asks them to join them. That girl says I have a lecture but Meethi says we've just come back from the study tour, so we can miss a lecture or two!
They're all sitting seriously, and Meethi says we'll play a rhyming game and they play it.
Mukta comes and listens to them from behind.
Aman describes the girl he would love. Both Mukta/Meethi are thinking he's talking about them!
Veer goes somewhere (not sure if it's the jail) and asks the peon to bring out a file 18 years ago for Icha Veer Sing Bundela. The peon goes away.
An old man comes from behind and says you've come to ask about her NOW?? I know all about her, but I won't tell you! He's angry at Veer.
He says I'm a journalist, I know her case very well. She was innocent and was still jailed for 14 years. Even if you find out now, what would you do now? Where were you when she needed you?
No one was with her. We journalists supported her. She came to meet you. You didn't come in court once to witness for her.
Trying to save you, she killed Avinash and Veer is shocked.
Veer is saying can you tell me where she is now?
He says, why should I tell you? First you tell me why didn't you come to court when you could have saved her that day?
In fact, NO ONE from your family came. Only her mother used to come and hope that her daughter would be saved.
Veer says how would I have come? I lost my memory. I forgot everything.
He says I'm still trying to remember all of that, but I cannot! He goes on the journalist's feet and asks him to help him.
The journalist says sorry. I didn't know you went through this.
He says all I know is that Icha was in Poona jail. I am sure you'll find out more about her from there and maybe even see a photo of her.
Episode ends.
Precap: Veer comes to Icha in an office-like place and says "suniye". Icha recognizes the voice.
