KUSHI

She felt drops of water being sprinkled on her face.she regained consciousness slowly.it was still dark and was raining outside.she saw that the window was open,through witch the rain drops were carried in by the wind.she got up and went to shut it,while doing so

"what happened to me last evening?i recall that I was in the car riding back home.i was angry at arnav ji and GD.and then,,,,yes then everything went blank,,!!! HAI DM what is happening to me?so does this mean that my doubts are turni9ng into fact?"she smiled happily .."geuss I should confirm it,,ill do it tomorrow"

ARNAV

He was deep asleep.he was dreaming of her.she was smiling at him.he put his hand on her waist to hug her even more tightly.but'something clicked to his subconscious mind."KUSHI"he woke up with a start.

KUSHI

She was startled at hearing his voice at this time of the night.she turned around wondering where it came from.and she just stood aghast not being able to understand whats going on.he was next to her in a second.he put his hand on her shoulder,,and asked very kindly,his words full of love and care

"kushi are you alright?why are you awake "?anything wrong?do you feel sick?"

Kushi stood silent for sometime ,wondering whether she was hallucinating .never the less "you?how did you come here??"

"well.you were fast asleep when we arrived here last night.and I had to carry you in.you did not'''."

Everything came back into kushis mind,,and she did not want him to continue.she felt shy.

"look,,please don't give lame excuses,you can be my husband for the world but not in front of me,!!!!don't even think of'''.."

Think of what,,that, arnav didn't come to know,,as at that moment the silence and darkness of the night was torn apart by a deafening roar of thunder!!!

"hai DM'"gasped kushi and she hugged arnav with fear,holding on to his shirt very tightly.arnav was amazed but did not utter a word.he was breathing in the sweet smell of her hair.again thunder rang through the sky.kushi tightened her hold on him.her eyes were tightly shut.everything was still and silent again,,,,then'..kushi heard his heart beat,,,,,,,,,,she came to her senses.she hastily pulled away from him.

"look I don't want to see your face.please get out of'.."

She could not complete her sentence as once again thunder broke through.sending kushi crashing onto arnav.she did not want to move.she was scared.

"kushi!!!" arnav tried to take her hands off and look at her,,but she did not budge,,she dug her fingers deep into his skin through the layer of his shirt and held on to him,shaking her head,,,.

Arnav didn't have any other option.he put one arm below her back and carried her.she did not protest to it.he gently laid her on bed.but she did not let go of him either.and so he lost his balance making him fall on top of her.thunder struck again..still she did not let go of him rather hugged him even more tightly.he was so happy looking at her."mad girl,,,,,,,talks as if she controls nature but behaves like a child for this!!!"

Without letting her go he flipped to his side of the bed.kushis head came to rest on his chest.he gently caressed her hair ,and this put her back to sleep'.

MORNING

Kushi was the first to wake.she recalled what had happened,but then'.."hai DM,,"she slapped her forehead."its my first day at work."she gotup quickly.and when she was about to open the door to go out,,a hand stopped her.

"I go to the bathroom,first!"said arnav.

"look this is my house.and so it gives me the right to go to the bathroom when I wish!!"

"oh really?so come on,,,I am getting late to work,,I can share the bathroom with you"he said with a smirk.

kushis mouth fell apart!! "that's enough!!!!i go first!!"she said kushi.

"you know what?you are an opportunist kushi!"

"why do you say so?"asked kushi angrily.

"because''..because,,,,,,,",he took a step forward with every word.he pinned her to the door by placing his hands on hers.he leaned forward closer to her left ear and whispered "who is it,that hugged me yesterday?i would have gone if you had let me to"

His breath was tickling her neck,a chill ran down her spine.she was speechless for a moment.

"ummm ummm look,,th th that was''"she stammered.

"yes,what was it?"he asked,his lips brushing her ear when he spoke.she could not stand it anymore.she pushed him away and ran to the bathroom.smiling to herself.!!!

After sometime'..

Kushi was dressed up now to go to work,.she saw ASR at the table having his breakfast and she heard buaji talking of GD!!!!!!!!!!!of all the people in the world.anger was building up inside her.

"please bring her here one day babua.i would love to talk to her.we could not properly introduce ourselves last night ,could we?i need to inquire about nand kishore too.why didn't she bring him with her?ooo my nand kishore''.."buaji was staring admirably at the ceiling.surely dreaming of her natkat.

arnav was not concentrating.his attention was on kushi,,his spoon half way to his mouth.she was looking breathtakingly beautiful today.in a lime green and pink saree.he just sat there staring at her.

"buaji,,im going."said kushi.

"where to sankadevi?"

"why!!!cant you remember.its my first day at work today."she said very angrily.

Arnav snapped back to present.

"kushi!! I'll drop you!!"

Oh realy MR arnav singh raizada?and how exactly are you going to?"asked kushi,,her hands on either side of her hip.

Just then they heard the noise of squealing tires and continuous beeps.they went out'''''.kushis anger rose to the horizon,,,,it was GD!!!!...AGAIN!!!!

GD got out of the car.today, she was in a black leather outfit.high heeled black boots,tight fitting black jeans revealing the shape of her long legs and a jacket to match.she came up to where arnav was standing and planted a kiss on his cheek.kushi felt a thousand fire crackers struggling to break through inside her!!!

"ohh arni,,arnt we going?its my first day at work isn't it?"arnav looked at kushi.she was so irritated that she didn't look at his face.arnav went in to fetch his coat and came back.he took hold of kushis hand and pulled her to the car.she shook his hand off and opened her mouth to argue

"kushi!get in"he ordered.

nothing like arnav and everything like ASR!!kushi was about to open the back door.but he shut it and opened the front door for her,this time not using words but eyes to order her.she got in glaring back at him.GD was watching all this with narrowed eyes.slightly annoyed.

"ill catch you arni.one day or other."she thought to herself.

TRAVELLING

Half way through kushi asked arnav to stop.ASR looked at her."uuu thi thi this is where I work".she said pointing at a primary school.ASR just nodded and stopped the car.she got off without a word.

"you are not so smart at lying KKGSR.!surely there is something fishy!"thought arnav.

"GD can you walk to the office?it is only a block away.ive got some unfinished work to do"

"oh arni"GD tried to persuade him ,but before she could finish ..."please'"

Said ASR.but it sounded like an order rather than pleading.so she got off and started to walk.she entered a coffee shop to get something to eat.

ASR turned and started looking for kushi through the mob on the pavement.

He spotted her,,walking towards the direction of AR."this means that,still you will be working somewhere close to me."he thought happily.

He followed her close behind.he was amazed to see her entering AR!!!he parked the car in the basement and hurried back to the entrance.just in time to see the lift in the second floor landing.

"second floor'..oh so she must be working at ashraya!"a smile played across his lips.

KUSHI

She was thinking of arnav.the way he ordered her around.she was angry that she had heeded to all that.she walked straight into a closed door,not conscious of her surroundings.she looked at the door.there was a metal plate nailed to it,which read "DR RAHUL CHAUDRI"

She knocked and was ordered to enter.inside there was an elderly man wearing a pin stripped navy blue suit.he was starring outside standing by the window but turned towards her when she came in.he was a man,whose appearance and facial expressions gave the impression that he meant business.

"helo sir I am your new assistant."chirped kushi in a sing song voice.

But the man motioned her to sit without even smiling.

"so I need you to go to the reception and get all the records of the patients which were left by my previous assistant.they are all written.i need you to type them.there will be around 1000 reports.remember,I don't want any mistakes"he said sternly.

"kushi could not believe this.it was her first day at work.and this man seems to be LAARD GOVERNOR TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!still she noticed that even though this man has set his features against laughing this did not reach his eyes.his eyes were looking very warm.his face looked familiar.

Anyway she came back to present'"yes sir "she said meekly.while she was closing the door behind her dupatta got caught to the handle.this reminded her of ASR.

"hmm LAARD GOVERNOR,,,,wonder what he is doing now.and that GD????what might she be upto?doesnt he know to get well behaved workers?she behaves as if she has not come here for AR but to drool on ASR!!!...ooo''.NO!!!!why are your imaginations going so wild kushi?nothing of that sort will happen.!!"

She was muttering to herself all the way to the lift.she felt breathless due to her anger and all at once her knees buckled.!!!she fell onto the floor just when the lift doors were opening.

"KUSHI"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
