Thanks a lot for all the song suggestions! Im gonna use 2 songs in this update.

The first song is my sister's request which I couldn't reject or postpone (or else she would tell Mummy what I write on IF, so yes, I have been blackmailed). It's called Raabta (Night in Motel) from the movie Agent Vinod. She tells me that the male version has been used in a VM, so this is the female version. Here is the link. I want to apologize to all writers who send me pm's of their updates. im sorry, time is a constraint these days. Part 8:

Khushi wakes up at her usual time for the Aarti. However, today was no ordinary morning. She opens her eyes to find Arnav Jee closer than ever on the bed, facing each other. A smile comes to her lips automatically. His right arm was over her waist and her left hand pressed upon his chest.

Phaili thi siyaah raatein, aaya tu subha leke
Khwamakhwa si zindagi mein, jeene ki wajah leke
Khoya tha samandaron mein, tanha safina mera
Saahilon pe aaya hai tu, jaane kis tarah leke

Kuch tou hai tujhse raabta (He putting the manglasutra around her neck in the mindar)
Kuch tou hai tujhse raabta (He applying the sindoor harshly in her maang for the first time)
Kaise hum jaane humain kya pata
Kuch tou hai tujhse raabta (Arnav exploring her mouth, his hands moving on her back)
Ab kya hai kehna, humko hai rehna
Jannatein bhula ke teri baahon mein mein panah leke (She moves closer and closes her eyes)

He was sleeping away peacefully, while she was finding it hard to control her emotions. The proximity between them turning her on so early in the morning. Now she somewhat felt like a married girl. The feeling to wake up in your husband's arms was just unusual. Very different from the slumbers at her room in Bua Jee's house. Khushi opens her eyes once again to look at him. She was eyeing every feature of his face, like she was looking at him from the first time, controlling herself to not touch him but he was too handsome to resist.

"Koi baat nahin Khushi, aaj raat hai na!" she thought to herself with a shy smile. Arnav Jee's 'I love you' had surely changed her way of thinking. His sudden transformation from the raakshas to the rajkumar had eliminated all the problems from their lives. Though it was shocking, but not much of a surprise. She always knew that there was something between them.

She gets up carefully out of the bed, gets dressed and goes downstairs. At the breakfast table:

"Kya baat hai, Chote abtak nashtey k liye naahi aye, Khushi bitya?"

"Woh Nani Jee, inn ko raat ko daftar jaana para tha kuch kaam se... tou pata nahin kab laoutey hain, isi liye hum ney unhye nahin jagaaya!"

"Chalain acha kiya. Kitna khyaal rakhat hai aap Chote ka. Bhagwaan aap ki jodi humesha banaye rakhey!

"Bhai raat ko office gaye lekin kyun, Khushi Jee? Mujhey bata diya hota tou main...

"Jeeja Jee, woh khud bhi bhool gaye they jaana..unhe kaafi dair baad yaad aya. Kuch nahin hota aap pareshan na ho!"

Khushi enters their bedroom tip toeing but he was already awake.

"Aah, Good Morning Khushi!" He sits up in a pleasant mood. He now wanted Khushi to be the first one to see after waking up each morning! Now only did he feel like it was their first morning after marriage.

"Afternoon kahiye, afternoon, Arnav Jee! Saarre baara (12:30pm) baj rahey hain din key!"

She drew the curtains to one side to let the light come in. "Dekhey aada din guzar gaya hai. Acha hua aap khud hi uth gaye! Hum soch rahe they k aap ko kaisey uthayain?" She comes over to sit at the edge of the bed facing him.

"Is main kya big deal thi...raat ki tarah kiss kardeti, main forun uth jata!"

Khushi who wasn't expecting any such thing from her laad governor turns a deep shade of pink.

"Aap bhi na subah hi subah...acha aap fresh ho jaye hum khana laga dete hain, naashta tou ab aap karney sey rahey is waqt! Yahan khayengey ya neechey?

"Neechey"

"Acha theek hai" She turns around to go.

"Khushi?"

"Jee?" She turns back.

"You are not busy today, are you?"

"Nahin tou! Kyun?"

"Bas phir done hai...aaj hum kahin jaa rahey hain, ok?"

"Aaj...kahan?

"Surprise hai, 5 din k kaprey etc pack karlo, 1 shawl bhi rakh lena shaid kaam aaey aur haan tum saari main mujhey sab sey zyada achi lagti ho tou pack those as well. Time bohut kam hai, tum jao main aata hoon neechey!" And he proceeds to the restroom.

"What the...? Yeh Laad Governor kya bol kar gaye hain, na poocha, na sahi se bataya...bas yeh pack karlena ...woh rakh lena! Aey Devi Mayaan humara kya banega!"

Arnav was eating his brunch at the dining table, with Khushi sitting with him for company. Nani, Mami Jee, Anjali and Shyam were in the sitting area.

"Kahan Jaa rahey hum? Bata bhi dey na Arnav jee?" Khushi asks for the tenth time.

"Chalo bata ta hun!" He wipes his face with the napkin and comes towards his family.

"Jee chotey? Aj laagat hai aap daftar nahin jaa rahey?

"Yes Nani, actually main aur Khushi aj shaam ki flight sey Nainital jaa rahey hain!"

"Aaj achanak? Daftar ke kaam sey kya?" asks Nani. Anjali looks amused while Shyam angry.

"No No, kal Khushi ka birthday hai, so I planned..."

"Arey Khushi Jee! Aap ka kal birthday hai, aap ne bataya hi nahin?" Anjali comes over happily to hug Khushi.

"Woh Di, humain khud yaad hi nahin raha..." She looks towards Arnav, happy to the core.

"...par Chotey nahin bhooley, haina? Abhi tou aap log Khushi Jee k maayeke sey ayain hain, lagta hai honeymoon period still in progress, haan?"

"But one things, I can't understands Arnav Bitwa, k why you taking Phatti Sari to Nainital? Kahin faaran(foreign) liye jaatey to atleast ee ko chancewa tou mil jata videsh dekhan kaa. Kabhi kucho dekha hi kahan ho ga iss Phatti Saari aur Khoon Bhari taang ney?"

"Mami please, agar aap unko sirf Payal aur Khushi kahengi tou mujhey acha lagega!"

"Err...Why naat (not) bitwaa, hum to sirf jokiyaa rahe they!"

"Haan chotey aap Khushi Jee ko kisi achi foreign location par lejatey, inn ko aur acha lagta na."

"But Di, Khushi ka passport bhi nahin bana hua hai, urgent main bhi passport aur visa aj tou nahin hosakta. Plus, we have to leave today."

"Par Saale Sahab, Khushi Jee ko un ki shaadi k baad ka pehla janamdin apne naye parivaar k saath manaana chaiye, kyun Khushi Jee?"

Khushi bites the insides of her mouth. He's impossible, this creep.

"No I don't think so, shaadi k baad, pehla birthday tou sirf Patti k saath celebrate karna chahiye, Jeeja Jee!"

Everyone except Shyam smiles.

"Okay Nani, we'll go pack..." He holds his wife's hand in front of his family and leaves.

In their bedroom:

"Arnav Jee, aap ko kaisey pata chala humare janamdin ka?"

Arnav thows his hanged shirts on the bed and comes towards her.

"Main ASR hoon Khushi, mujhey sab pata hai Khushi, sab!"

"Sab?"

"Haan sab yeh bhi k main sotey huey bhi bohut dashing lagta hoon, haina???"

Khushi's mouth fell open. How did he know?

"Umm..muj..mujhey nahin pata aap kya keh rahey hain. Yeh bataye kitna baje nikalna hai?"

"6 baje ki flight hai. 4:30 tak nikaltey hain"

"Par Arnav Jee hum sirf Nanital hi tou jaa rahey hain, hawai jahaaz main jaane ki kya zaroorat hai?"

"Zaroorat hai, main jald se jald pohunchna chahta hoon aur by air sirf 1 hr lagta hai. Khushi..." He takes both her hands into his. "...I promise k iss dafa main tumhare saare giley shikwe mita doonga. I promise yeh tumhari sab se memorable trip hogi!"

Khushi looks into his eyes. Yeh sab kaisey hogaya? Kya yeh koi sapna hai..Arnav Jee phir se waisey kaisey hogaye?

"Pakka promise?" She asks like a child.

He laughs. "Haan, pakka promise! Come here." He pulls her closer in hug and closes his eyes. Or so he hopes. Like all men, he was a child at heart. He wanted comfort and courage. He wanted someone to rely upon. Someone, who would take care of him. Someone, who would make everything alright.
