What will be IPS Sandhya's advice ?

... to a girl who comes to her and says that she cannot bear the torture of her in laws any more ? ... She tells sandhya, i can't go home because my in laws haven't beaten me and my parents say "har ladki ko thoda sa adjust toh karna hi padta hai"


but instead i get taunted and blamed everyday ... i am humiliated and degraded ... my parents, my upbringing, my character - all are questioned every single day ... And since all this constitutes cruelty under section 498-A of the Indian Penal Court, please advise me IPS Madamji ... What should i do ?


Do you think our Sandyaji (IPS) will have the time to deal with such UN-important issues like domestic torture and cruelty when she has pressing issues to deal with like cooking competition A, Bhabho pleasing competition B, Random stranger's illogical demand competition C etc etc ...

awesome post...ya surely sandhya would advice her to do make happy her in laws by tolerating taunts..but still try to help them without losing patience..

U've got a point! Gud question? I think advising others,poking nose in every problems etc..are time-pass 4 Sandhya IPS! But she never applies that in her own life! Any1 can advise,but turning those advices practical in own life always seems to be impossible! And how funny it will b if same question is asked 4 her IPS interview?

Sandhya would definitely take action against the girl's in-laws and tell teh girl not to bear injustice.

It will be very interesting to see how sandy deals with this...Will it be a case of "Do as I say not as I do" ?...I think if physical torture is brought up by the pleader, Sandy will not hesitate in standing up against it, as will most of the audience... But the thorn in DABH is that Sandy probably does not consider what she is undergoing as torture...She thinks what she is enduring is difficult, yes, but not cruel (although the audience may have a different opinion)...Where should the line be drawn between unkindness, rudeness, cruelty and torture?
