No one can, and I mean no one, can question the innocence of your heart and the purity of your soul. Nor the Scientific thirst in you. Your quest is purely on the lines of Benjamin Franklin, and like him you have discovered things electric if I may venture to add.

Coming to the three questions you pose, my take is as follows,

1. Why all of a sudden Khushi becomes bold?

Ans: Don't ignore the preceding Hand hold! (Hands on training I pressume)

2. ASR can really kindle fire with his heat on his own?

Ans: No he cant. He can ccok in it but not catch fire. For that he needs friction, and friction there was.

3. What happened here exactly?

Ans: My take, Khushi found out she wasn't married to chote after all.

ps. Another theory could be based on ASR's oral hygene. But that calls for more scientific proofs.
