I don't know what to make of this topic and your post ?
Mocking Indu to this extent is not done... I want to hear from you what has irked about Indira so that I can give a reply to that..

Mahesh

1. This thread was not about Indira, but lamenting her replacement by the new kid on the block - Sumer, more precisely - his body, his abs. HE, his body are the hero and heroine of the serial.

It was also a lament of how far HD and some of the vewers have fallen to just see a good body and forget everything

2. The post in another thread where I do mock her, or rather am furiously angry at this woman who is impersonating Indira is where I comment on her lecturing Sumer for not being a good teacher, when she is fully cognizant of the fact that he is not here to teach kids.

CVs have made Indira loose her brains completely. Every day we get another example, as if previous day's examples were not enough to burn out hearts into cinders.

Apologies for your hurt feelings, but I and many Indira lovers are pissed. Hopping mad at wanton destruction of a beautiful charcater😡

Jem,
As far as Sumer goes, I think the CVs are in the process of character development and doing the opposite they did for Sameer... They seem to make Sumer a very strong character with high morals and a smart cop, I don't know if this means a meaty and bigger role for such character establishment for introducing him for helping Indu. I hope not... Sumer at the moment is getting more screen space than even Indu as CVs probably take this track on his shoulders to find Rishi and close this track with nabbing the real culprit in the family. As far as the viewes being bowled over by his body, it is not true as it is not the case with everyone barring one or two souls here and there. If that was the case, all the hot hunks would have been the leads showing their skin to woo women audience... I don't agree that is the case.
Well, Indu taunts Sumer even though she knows he is not a qualified teacher, yet even in disguise he has a role to play as teacher, which she mildly reminds as to what to do as they are kids for the future... Probably, i see it differently than you about this.
Regarding Indu not being herself ? I had replied in other thread to your post as well that at a time in her life where the one she loves most has gone missing from her life as put her in a state of depression which is quite normal for any human being... We all have certain traits and behave the way when normal, but in the time of panic and adversity, we are not ourselves and behave in an unacceptable manner and that is what Indu is going through where she is not herself and acting inappropriately to situation where her brain is not functioning the way it would have for the previous Indira in her normal state of affairs.
Indu needs to rediscover herself and only one person knows how to shaken up the sleeping gaint in Indu and that person is now gone missing from her life.

Mahes.

Respect your opinion. But differ

Yes we do behave differently when we are in depressed.

But the kind of deep depression you are talking about where we loose all enthusiasm, sense of self, brains etc ocurrs when adrenaline has been exhausted. You know the seven stages of grief. Right.

Indira is in her first stage where adneranline should be pumping in her day in day out, trying to find Rishi alive. What I find very hard to digest is that she blackmailed this cop into solving this case. He relents, under duress. OK. so he is in your house trying to find the culprit. What would you do? You would do what you can to help him find Rishi ASAP. all your thoughts would be consumed by it, not by nuances of teaching, or "desh ka bhavishiya" lectures. Pretense of teaching can be maintained at any level, not necessarily at a good teacher level.

This line of thinking is right along the lines where Indira spent mental wherewithal to chase the cop, wait patiently for him to complete his bribe taking, click is pictures, print flyers, distribute them...all the while her husband was buried in some sand dump somewhere.

It is these glaring incongruencies between what one normally does in the heat or immediate aftermath of tragic event versus what Indira is shown to be doing.

I would be the first one to accept this kind of behavior had Rishi died. Because there is no recourse. One has to accept. Thus one gets depressed and mind starts chasing phantoms, placing empahsis on wrong things.

But what is galling here is that Rishi has not died yet. In situations like these, months pass, years pass, yet we see people still chasing their lost loved ones with the same ferocity as the first day they got lost. But Indira has had only a couple of days/weeks. Anyone in her position would be running on adrenaline, being swamped with only one thought - how to get him back alive. And in that end, being tunnel visioned.

We do that for important things in our own lives, like when our loved one becomes sick or is in an accident. We want doctors and everybody else to forget all patients, their families etc and only concentrate on us. Heck, we even do it for our work projects. We get less patient with employees personal lives when urgent deliverable are needed. Here we are talking of someone who at this very moment may be being tortured or again killed

when Indira dreams of Rishi being thrown off the building, it must fill her with hear and panic. So in this state, how could she not be berating Sumer for wasting time on Kushtis, and not finding Rishi. Not only is she not doing that but finding braincelles to lecture him on "deh ka bhavishiya"

Do you really believe that her family cares or is able to judge whether sumer is a good teacher or not?

About Sumer
He is a honorable, honest cop. Please tell me how he is and I will eat my words. Taking bribes to feed the poor, but at the same time not refusing to not even do the basic duty of registering an FIR for non-monied class who comes to his police station, is not honesty or honor in any book.

Cheers

Whether I have changed or not is immaterial. HD has changed. It does not bother you - well and good.

It bothers me a heck and I am yelling and screaming. As soon as I give up all hope of old Indira nd Rishi returning., I will be gone for good..

and take heart, that day is not that far away😉 Writing is on the wall. It is just my stubborn self is refusing to accept it
