Khushi does not love Shyam...at ALL. To even presume that can make somebody physically sick. He's just living in his own stupid fantasy world THINKING that Khushi actually loves him..He'll wake up when Arnav actually comes back (wherever he may be)...And by then, i hope Arnav picks up a thing or two about the huge misunderstanding..So he can knock the absolute daylights out of that...No word will be sufficient enough to describe him..I actually moved my head back from my computer screen (yes i watch ipkknd on the computer) when he closed his eyes and started talking about her hatred and his love..I was like...D: 🤢🤣 It's really funny in a way, the way he keeps playing this little..Pretend game.

Look at it from Khushi's perspective as well.. What can she do at this point. She has slapped him and wanted to slap him again when he forcefully held her hand after the heer ranjha play thing... but his response to her was please slap me atleast that way you will touch me... eeeoowww after hearing that even I would not want to slap him coz just the thought of touching his cheek would give me the creeps. He is delusional.. he thinks that she at some point did like him and still does... she very clearly told him in no uncertain words today not to even take Arnav's name from his dirty mouth ... but he didn't get the fact that she hates him. Khushi's concern for Arnav screams her love for him .. the whole Raizada house can see it but Shyam chooses not to see it. Khushi at this stage is vulnerable she feels alone and scared constantly for Arnav... He is her prime concern ... she does not want to have any kind of conversation with Shyam and just wants him out of her sight. Indulging him in dialogue is pointless for her... So she just asks him to get the hell away from her and Arnav's room.
At this point in the story the cards are in Shyam's hands and thats why he is getting bolder. Arnav is not there... Khushi is vulnerable... She is desperate to tell Arnav the truth and Shyam knows that at this point he is the only one who will be able to help her. He already has the will papers with him so he does not need to be calm with Khushi anymore. Shyam's characters boldness will make him screw up somewhere... Pride will go before the fall. He will make a mistake which will lead Khushi to find out something about Arnav or about the papers which he has hidden and hence is necessary.
As I said in another post as well every strong hero needs a strong villian. Until Shyam does not provoke Khushi Arnav to turn towards him instead of each other the story will not move.
