This is why UV is 'The UV'.

Noticed something today? And no, am not talking about UV's good looks , Maanyata's safedi ki chamkaar shirt, Jaggu's super cool white and suede attire or Aryan's imitation Armaani jacket or permanent ad of glares that he was wearing.

I am talking about the difference between UV and Maanyata. Its not about the education , upbringing , class or sophistication divide which in any case glares in the face all the time. Its about the difference between them as ' EQUALS'. When Maanyata treats UV like dirt , she goes all out in her abuse , accusations and attacks. But when its UV's turn , he treats her with duality ' it's the 'dirt' and the 'princess' treatment at the same time. Even when he is counter attacking him, there is a certain respect and honour to that. It was wild and immature of Maanyata to point a gun at UV. For what? Hasn't she understood till date that UV is no danger to her veil of honour? Of course , he would have taken her home ' you didn't have to be an animal with him. Rejoinder attack? UV returned her wild behavior by actually showing it to her that what it means to have a gun on your head? No manhandling , no nosedive to Maanyata's level ' he just taught her a lesson by tying her hands with a rope and leaving her free in the woods. And no, it was not for fun, really. UV was not amused at all with the gun threat. And he drove the lesson home ' fair and square. There is a marked difference between the two behaviours. Maanyata's attack is abusive , frustrated , confused and hurtful. But UV's attack is cold, calculative , playful, teasing yet protective. Maanyata thinks UV is an animal and UV wants to stop Maanyata from becoming an animal.

Even later , when Maanyata was stuck in the animal trap , she didn't call for UV's help because she doesn't expect or want anything from him ' her conscious mind sees him as a villain. So, when he does come to help ' hot blooded and hot headed as she is , she prefers to die than get saved by UV. But even here , UV lets all her anger , abuse and ingratitude pass over his head . Helping her because he knows that she is a pig-headed humpty dumpty when in anger and in misjudgment. Its not just because UV loves Maanyata. Its also because of the kind of person he is ' his breeding has taught him to be valiant and be protective. Its in his nature to care for anyone and everyone ( remember he saved J from embarrassment at a dance when she got drunk ' he even stopped the guards from beating Aakash when he came to the palace for the first time ' and Aakash's accidental fall haunted him for weeks) when it comes to them being vulnerable. He preferred to use his senses and patience overriding Maanyata's stubborn dinosaur act. He was angry , he was scared ,he literally wanted to whack Maanyata's neck at a few points but he used his senses. Of course, you cannot take UV out of UV. The moment Maanyata fell on him like a 55kg can of fevicol, you had vintage UV back.

Even later , A 'sprained-ankle Maanyata was both intimidated and intrigued by UV's authoritative care. He was in no mood to flirt or get into eyelocks when he carried her in his arms - it was simply authority over a sulking kid who refuses to behave herself. He plonked her in the car like a teddy bear , told her to stay statue until he comes back and madam , for the zillionth time surrendered to his authority. His furrowed eyebrows followed a grin only when Maanyata tied a bandage around his bleeding arm.

It takes the patience of Hercules and the tolerance of a mountain to even put up with someone like Maanyata who is either an excited electron who doesn't know her orbit or a ticking bomb threatening to explode anywhere. Yet UV has done it and he has been the only one in this whole story who could do it. And no its not just because he loves her ' its because he is UV. The only reason that everyone either hates him , desires him or loves him to the extent of an obsession.

I am glad I saw today's episode as I rarely see DEK these days. It just reiterated the fact that why UV is UV and how that has nothing to do with his good looks. He is man enough within and even if this brawn was not there , he would still be just as awesome.

So, here's to you, UV ' Applause and Respect.

P.S- Maanyata could not sit straight with the sight of blood on UV ' and that too a gash he didn't even notice. She could not shoot him when she had the chance or even when he challenged her to shoot him. She looked at him in a confused warm manner when he pulled her out of the pit. In short - in friendship, in hatred, in love , in animosity ' she is bound to him. And its safer to hate him , be angry with him. She cannot handle the truth .

UV, I think, is born King and groomed by Mrinalini Devi. They both are quite similar in many ways. I was actually shocked yesterday at one statement by J - "Only one person can stop me and she is on her bed". This is a statement that represents not only DS but also UV. They both are able to deal with tough situations, hide their soft feelings behind their cold smiles and make people taste their own medicines. No wonder DS confides more in UV than GiriRaj and UV trusts DS more than his own father. May be its only me, but there are strange similarities between the two characters.

There is more than meets the eye. She couldn't shoot him, she had the best shot/ chance and could've gotten her revenge and could've even blamed the Cheetah afterwards and would have been scot free.

Something in her heart held her back. It was if her fingers had turned to ice. In her heart she knows he is her 'Prince'... 'The One and Only... Hamesha hamesha kay liye'... but its the Moniya aspect in her that doesn't let her scratch the surface of her being to see whats really hidden in her heart.

Especially when she couldn't bear the blood oozing from Uday's arm she hurriedly tore her duppatta to stop the blood flow... it was as if she felt HIS PAIN and couldn't bear it and then covered it up with a ridiculous excuse. She didn't have to see him suffer 😍.

If all that wasn't a full on heroine avatar, I don't know what is?

Plus, the biggest question is: What was Aryan doing in the jungle with his cronies?.. Does he often come to the jungle to get drunk. Is the jungle his favorite drinking spot? If he was just passing by and heard the screams it would've been logical, but he and his side kicks were parked next to the jungle and drinking beer and eating chips over there?... Ghar mein mummy peenay nahi deti kya??🤣🤣

it was shown more than good looks of UV why he is more loved...its UV's blood line has taught him to be caring & have to be protective...its not just love more Manyata...it is in upbringing of him to be protect...
UV knows her nature stubness like a child is she won't accept this fact so soon she needs him but she has come up with this soft corner for UV...& UV knows how much M needs him...he can't let it go just bcoz of her stuburn nature...
despite of M knowing that she couldn't c UV wounded when UV teased her...she in her own stuburn self...didn't accepted but her face & change in voice said...
she finds herself safe in abusing him...hating him...bcoz if she doesn't do ...she will be smitten by UV by now...its her mind stopping her...where as UV knows well..
