I don't know from where you left the show but in the past year there have been ups and downs in the life of both Jaitser as well as Mumbai dwellers. Jagya has been trying all he can to get back the love of his family while Gauri has turned evil and although she puts a very nice face in front of J she has been taunting and challenging Anandi and the family behind J's back.

The family finally decide that it is time for A to start a fresh and get rid of the Jagya tag. Its DS sphere heading all this and she decides to get A remarried. To help this process they decide to get A and J divorced. A signs the dotted line where after DS and Bhairav take the papers to J for his signature. J reluctantly signs the papers after which he is left devastated. J is expected to go to Jaipur for the divorce proceedings in a few days from there. It then dawns onto G that after the divorce she and J will have no way to get any money from the Singhs. So she instigates him to claim his right over his share in the property as a condition to divorce A. 😕 She tell shim that they can build a hospital of their own with the money and thus be well settled. J and G go to Jaitser where J threatens his family to not divorce A if he is not given a share in the property. A is totally oblivious of this whole proceeding. Anyway they decide to give him his share and go to deliver the papers to him. A gets to know about it and gives J a earful to stoop to the level of threatening his family in return for divorce and using her marriage as medium for this. And guess what she slaps him too before tearing off the property papers. She inturn threaten him that she doesn't need his presence in the court to get a divorce but instead she will file a case of bigamy against him. this makes both J and G scared and they go to the court where the divorce proceedings begin. there is a 6 month sleeping period after which the divorce will be final.

J in the meanwhile has lost his job and has been debarred from his MS due to low attendance so he is basically jobless. On th eother hand G has finished her MS and is now working in a reputed hospital. Well G had a miscarriage due to rash driving and yelling at A over the phone in one of her anger spree. It goes with out saying that the whole miscarriage was blamed on A who was in Jaitser while the car was driven by G in Mumbai 😕. Pl don't ask me what's the logic...

Anyway good times for A. She is felicitated by the CM for her untiring efforts to develop Jaitser. Jaitser is now promoted as a district rather than a village and A's new love interest is the newly appointed District collector of Jaitser...

Well this is what I could think of in short...

DS has changed for the better. she does value what A has done for the family. In fact A had started adult education classes and DS too joined the class and started educating herself. She accepted her mistakes and also the fact that she was very harsh with kid A. She has given A all freedom now to study or do anything she likes. A is now the Sarpach of the village...This is a totally different DS than that old time strict Ds. In fact she in the scene where A slaps J DS even compared J to a beggar. You should watch that episode. its really nice.
