Today's episode really made me upset on so many levels and as I watched this slow motion train wreck, two words kept popping up for each character. Here goes...

Punni 😈 - The lesser of two evils. You are determined to dig your claws into our Don Juan, aren't you? I wonder what your reaction will be when you find out about the mess that has been going on in your absence? I will concede that you are a very determined girl and if our hero had one iota of your gumption we wouldn't be in this mess right now. Two words for you Punni - High Five!

Manav 😡 - You had a sliver of my sympathy when you gave Archu the go ahead to meet her daughters but then you absolutely ruined it when Purvi tried to talk to you. When she called you baba, you were looking around to see if anyone heard her . That just completely broke my heart and made me so sick! And when she thanked you with sincerity, you just walked off?? Two words for you Manav - EPIC FAIL!!!

Archu 😭 - You are enjoying one daughter's happiness while unknowingly rubbing salt in the wound of another daughter. How your heart will break when you come to know the truth. My sympathies in advance. Thank you for showering a mother's love on Ovi, because if I'm honest, she's going to need you soon (well... maybe in the distant future at this rate). Maybe it was just the angle of the shot (or my eyes deceiving me) but when Tej went to bring Purvi, I noticed Archu looking at Arjun who was looking at Purvi. Archu maybe closing in on something here...hmmm. Two words for you Archu - Tread Lightly.

Sulochana 😕 - I know that you are happy that Archu can spend time with her daughters and you are enjoying your sagi granddaughters. I'm happy for you too. Every grandmother should experience that joy but I don't know why you are giving me the creepers when it comes to Purvi (maybe its just me ) You need to be fair and love all the same regardless of the time spent with each of them. Two words for you Sulo - Play Fair.

Teju 😳 - What can I say for you - Open mouth, insert foot 😆 You really have no clue what's going on here, do you? You are happily unaware of all the trouble brewing up around you because you are busy stirring the pot... unknowingly of course. You have a heart of gold dearie and I hope when you find out about Arjun-Purvi you don't blame our Purvi too much - you can't help who you fall for. Two words for you Tej - Blissfully Ignorant

Ovi 😕 - Thank you for not hanging on Arjun's neck today as the poor boy's noose is already tight enough without you weighing him down. You seem to be a very perceptive girl when you take the Arjun-coloured glasses off so my suggestion is this "take them off!!" Look around you and take notes because its going to be a very rude awakening and a long, bumpy ride. Two words for you Ovi - Hang On!

Arjun - How do I save you from all the chappals being thrown at you or more importantly do I want to??? I want to give you a good shake and then a big hug. Your business acumen was touted as impecable but when it comes to matters of the heart your behaviour is implorable. I understand this situation is highly unusual and very sensitive but you need an ACTION plan. I want to shake you because you are letting the secrets pile up while doing nothing. I saw that look between you and Archana ' acknowledging you without disclosing the MMS scandal. The hug is for the pure and utter devastation that you will ultimately feel when Purvi walks away from you for your lack of testosterone. Two words for you Arjun - Man Up!!!

Purvi 🥺 - You were right; your job is not a healthy place for you to be right now. I hope an opportunity comes along for you to jump ship soon! My prayer for you (because only God can help you at this point) is that you are able to withstand the onslaught of pain coming your way. I don't know how the flux of fatherly love is affecting you (frankly its giving me acid reflux 😆). Behind closed doors you are beti, outside you are Miss Purvi and then he tries to run away from you as fast as he can before you can hug him or something. For that, my dear, I'm truly hurt for you. No one knows your pain or the daggers they are driving into your heart with this Arjun-Ovi engagement fiasco but you are holding your head high. You know that there is no good outcome for this and yet you hope beyond all hope that Arjun can be your saviour. My heart goes out to you. 🤗 Two words for you Purvi - Just Breathe!

Sachin ⭐️ - You were my star of the day. Thank you for being there and giving my something to focus on. Your lines were spot on! Two words for you Sachin - Rock On!

If you've made it this far, I appreciate your attention for wading through my agitated tirade. Why do we become so invested in this show? 😆 I'm beginning to think I need a vacation from PR 😆

Arjun as Don Juan: If Don Juan was not a fictional character of ages gone by, he would have sued you for defamation! I never heard tell that he was so terminally ineffective that he could not handle even 2 girls. Don Juan's little black book, or the 17th century equivalent thereof, must have been choc a bloc with women's names. Arjun Kirloskar is nowhere in the same league, above all because he actually falls in love, something that would have horrified Don Juan.

Arjun and Archana: "that look between you and Archana ' acknowledging you without disclosing the MMS scandal". The acknowledgement is from Arjun's side; he closes and opens his eyes and nods ever so slightly. That, I feel, is not about the MMS, but as a reassurance from him to Archana that he will preserve the secret of Archana's real identity (from Ovi, of course).

What with this, and your alternative script for Romil and Purvi, you have made my day, and that of so many more, I am sure. Thanks a million.

As for a vacation from PR, that is very easily done, but I don't plan to take it, and neither, I suspect, will you. What I plan to do is to cut back seriously on the amount of time I spend writing about the defects of the 'script' and the characters. I have no doubt that it will be a relief all round! I shall then spend part of the time thus saved re-reading your pieces.
