One good dialog that Sumer has uttered is calling Indira out on her blindspot - her family. šSaying that Rishi was a saint for marrying her was icing on the cakeš
I have long said in many threads, to the boredom of many, that Indira shows classic symptoms of "battered woman" where she has so internalized the abuse, despite her outward bluster, that she fails to see how much damage and danger they pose to her sanity, let alone happiness.
This is one of just many samples
I am not saying this to redraw attention to my old comments but how urgent it is that someone hits Indira on the head with a 2x4 on this issue. Sumer did it bluntly and kudos to him.
Indira thinks it is somehow her responsibility to feed and maintain her family's idle, corrupt lives, when all her sibling (perhaps Vidith can be excused for a little more time) are capable of supporting themselves.
Even today when her mum was yelling at her for leaving her job, she apologetically offered her reasoning. Never have we seen Indira offer her "trademark" style in-you-face pushback. We see her bitter, resigned, accepting etc of her burden and abuse, but never pushback
Only time I saw Kutumb acknowledge Munna's failings was in the immediate aftermath of rape discovery.
Indira really has to urgently come to grips with the psychological disaster that are her familial relationships, and their greed and use of Indira.
Today one amongst them is trying to murder off Rishi because he is a threat as well as in the process get the money off the sale of the house
Tomorrow, what happens if they decide that Indira is too stubborn and their need for easy money is too great. What if they decide to kill her? This is very much a real possibility
Rishi has been reduced to classic "bahu" to gets murdered for money
Indira may become the classic "brother" who gets killed off for property
