Hi guys,
Today's episode made me wonder if Archu has some serious memory problems. She so easily forgets her conversations and that too important ones if she is distracted by something else.

If you remember the scene where she goes to talk to Purvi, sensing her sorrow. She is asking her why Purvi looks so sad these days and Purvi was about to probably reveal to her the truth, but Archu gets distracted by Manav's call. It's okay that she went to meet him, but wouldn't she remember that Purvi was going to tell her something important after her fight with Manav or even the next day when she was dusting? Is she is that forgetful?

I remember that in the past too she had forgotten to mention to Manav about not saying anything about Varsha's abortion to the Adoption agency, due to which Varsha was not able to adopt a child.

It is quite confusing as she is all over the place and not setting her priorities right as a result of which she has these memory problems!!

It is interesting how they have shown that Archana understands her two real daughters so well inspite of not living with them. But she does not understand Purvi and her emotions that well. Even if she is supportive towards Pirvi later on, she cannot read Purvi that well. In fact if I am right, Purvi was the one who was shown to understand her mom so well. Sad.

No yar .it's nothing like that she understands purvi .Archu was excited to meet Ovi after 18 yrs. Another reason Archu may be thinking tht Purvi is unhappy coz she didn't tell her abt ovi teju.

Perhaps it is true after all that blood is thicker than water. I can understand Archana's mental excitement and confusion because both her daughters are there and she gets to know them for the first time. But still Purvi is no less her daughter as she brought her up wihile she was a babe in arm. She should understand Purvi much better than she understands her two daughters. But somehow, that motherly instinct for Purvi is not there. She knows she is troubled - it doesn't matter what the trouble is - the point is Archana should be aware that Purvi is not herself and that somethiing is troubling her. She should ask Purvi what the problem is - despite the disruption - she should revisit the problem and check with Purvi. But perhaps her mind is totally on her daughters and she has for the moment placed Purvi aside.

Anyway, i find the Karanjkars a bit dysfunctional. Look back at the enagement - Purvi lives in the same house as her grandmother and Teju AND YET she did not know that the two of them would be at the party thrown by DK/Manav. How could 3 ladies, dressed to the nines, not be aware that the other is going out for a social evening - did they all dress at different times of the day - did Purvi come straight from her office (maybe she did ...). That is one. The other is all of them were at the same party - tell me what is the natural gravitational pull of people who know each other and family - YES - you gravitate and tend to stick to each other - but look at Sulo, ARchana and Purvi - all 3 were alone - not even hanging around with other people (apart from short talk with each other).
But of course the bottom line is the CVs are writing stories without looking at naturality and logic.

@zeezee55

couldn't agree more about the dysfunction in the family and the fact that Purvi is disturbed. A mom knows if her child is suffering and any mom would address any issue that has been bothering her child. The CVs are not being consistent with Archu's character and are making her look scatterbrained.

and yes, the point about hoping to the engagement separately also was weird. I am a big fan of PR but it is getting more and more disconnected.

i totally agree with this post. It is done of course by the CV's so they can make the twins and ArMan an important part of the unfolding story...but i have said this before...it's very upsetting to see them portray it this way..Purvi is every bit Archana's daughter. Archu finally noticed something was wrong, but didn't follow through. In most ways Purvi is the mother of Archana not the other way around...i hate that they have written it this way..it's unhealthy and sad.
