Even i didn't like the too heavy jewelry she was wearing. But she going to some event where she is going to be felicitated. And the haveli ppl wear heavy jewels even on normal everyday. So maybe for them its normal to wear such jewels for an occasion as in that place she will also be known as the beendni of the Singh Parivaar. So its OK, i guess.
Maybe the new entry will take offence to her dressing/jewelry 😆 before he knows that she was the one who is being felicitated for her good work like in "Pride and Prejudice", where Darcy is not pleased with Lizzy's looks on their 1st meeting. We keep hearing that the new collector is very strict etc. DS also said noone can point any mistake at Anandi when ppl were telling about the new collector. So its possible.
