The moment the word mother is coined, feelings of nostalgia, love and affection grip our souls. It is truly said that mothers were sent on Earth by God to take care of we children. A mother is our friend, philosopher and guide. Who doesn't want to rest on mother's lap and embrace sleep while she cleanses our heart by singing a soothing lullaby? Yes, today (13 May 2012) is Mother's Day when we pay our respect and love for all the good things that our mothers have done for us.

Gaurav S BajajMy mom keeps sending me gifts and throwing surprises every now and then. She is a wonderful cook and recently she made delicious gajar ka halwa. She keeps feeding me mangoes (I love it) but I gain weight after that. My mom is very patient and a great motivating factor in my life. I am single but committed to my mother. Today I will plan some surprise for her along with my brother.
