Dear Friends,

We have seen, DC's have launched their new show Aasman Se Aage yesterday. It is a dance reality show. In the first episode we have seen the audition round.

what did you like most in the show?

The show it self is something very special for which i'm here. 😳😳😳

The thing which like most in this show is the concept itself and of course AA as DC. There are few more thing which i like in this show. The character of Roshini, Karishma, Sanam, Mahua, AA (brothers), Sameer and our Meenu. 😳😳😳 Will elaborate them in the noteworthy points. 😛😛😛

What did you feel about it?

I always was anxious to know what exactly happens in a reality show and why our judgement failed at times though the contestant did awesome than the one who did ok.

This show will give the answers to all those who got these questions. 😉😉😉

Will DC get good TRPs?

I think Yes. People's reaction especially for Karishma, Meenu n AA were too good. they really enjoyed the onscreen dance of them and they too danced with them. 😆😆😆

So he will get def. good TRP's not coz of only them, but also coz of DC who plays his cards from time to time to make his show hit with gr8 TRP's. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Will Meenakshi be a good idol for aam janata?

Seemingly yes. But DC creates all kind of hurdles from time to time for her which benefits his show 😳😳😳, as well as to see what will she do or what sacrifice she will make to reach her goal of becoming India's next dancing super star. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

At every stage i feel she will gain the notice of the aam janata and she will become their fav. 😃😃😃

Any other noteworthy points...

Noteworthy points; i would like to talk in detail of those characters which i mentioned in question 1. (These things i have discussed with my today evening.) 😆😛😉

Roshini - She said she was just like Meenu, whom DC, identified for her talent, has given a chance and made her a star. but i think she had chosen the wrong path which we didn't know yet. 😕😕😕 and all her fame is gone. Now she became a alcoholic and DC once again giving her a chance ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

People like Roshini do exist and what happens to them or why they turn so is shown in this show which i think is something daring step CV's have taken. 👏👏👏

Sanam - Famous choreographer, who has ego for that and want's all special treatment in the DC show . Finally DC has challenged his ego by giving him a female attire. 👏👏👏

When ever i used to see Judges fi8ing during the show for the sake of judgement and all i wondered what's going on? they are very famous, and involving in cat fi8 like kids. 😡😡😡 so again this show is giving me the answers for that. 😃😃😃

Mahua - now i understood why people some time talk like pampering dialogues; or shout at the audience or comment over them badly, as she spoke / did in the audition round. 😆😆😆 So this character too has a significance.

Karishma - Her Kuch Bhi tag will make her stand in a very bad situation in future and she will spoil her career 🤢🤢🤢. all this she is doing without any other option and coz of her mom who is more dragging her into this situation.

We see people of this type too. and i'm glad that Cv's have taken such characters too in to account. 👏👏👏

AA Brothers - Jaan se jyada dialogue bhai and i'm the best dialogue bhai. both one sacrifices for the other; the other never cares anyone and cannot accept failure.

there will be a day both will realize what they are up to and i think they will rectify their mistakes.

We often see siblings fi8ing for something or other in present days. what ever it may be - acting, dancing or business but such people too exist and again kudos to CV's to take such characters. 👏👏👏

Sameer - most of us can relate to this character. Parents want their kid to be something but the kids wishes to become something else . in all this course the future of the kid is either spoiled or succeeds depending on the decision.

Sameer situation is same. his passion is for dance but his parents wishes him to become doctor. So what happens after this is must wait n watch and how CV's deal with the situation is a must watch. 😍😍😍

Meenakshi - a poor basti girl, who is the only bread earner wishes to become a dancing star one day. Suddenly she gets that one mauka. What happens next? how did situations turn the tables? did she reach her final goal and what sacrifices she made is the main concept. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Finally our DC - the man with many shades. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ His story of turning from Dev to Dc is yet to unfold but the way they show Dev n DC in one frame is appreciable. 👏👏👏

Kudos to CV's 👏👏👏 for taking so many various characters which we generally see in the world we live. Which we question to ourselves why the person turn so or behaving so 😕😕😕. there are many questions which we are going to get the answers from this show. 😃😃😃

A Satan character, a innocent character, a egoist character, a pampering character, a sacrificing character, a failure character, anxious to do anything character, never mind character, sweet character and opportunist character - all this things are noteworthy i guess. 😳😳😳

Sorry AF for the late posting...very busy with daughter's exams!

Ok here goes ...

I enjoyed the show on Friday...it was nice that they showed the various reactions from all the different contestants.

DC was right in thinking that Meenu will get sympathy from the public...

He will def get his required TRP if he continues to show the off screen happenings in the academy.

Felt very sad at Sameer's elimination though...haven't yet seen Monday's episode so am waiting for the reason behind this as i thought Sameer too would have been a good TRP getter for the show.

Meenu is a good soul...aam janta will def connect with her...though personally i do not approve of sob stories in reality shows...this i find let's mediocre people moving ahead at the cost of talented ones !

Looking forward to the new jodis.

At present i do not want any love angles to develop ...want the makers to concentrate solely on the show and the struggle of the various participants.

I also want the AA bros struggling on their own rather than Akshat always thinking of himself and Angad also should concentrate on his dancing !!

The judges role will also be interesting to watch...want to see if DC imposes his will on them as he did during the audition rounds !!

Mahua might succumb but will be interesting to see the tussle between Sanam and DC.

Also will be interesting to see whether Sanam will promote Karishma as a opponent for Meenu as she is DC's favourite...also whether DC will continue to promote Meenu or will the audience and TRP decide his favourite !!

All in all should be a roller coaster ride for all of us !!

Bhanu if you don't mind, instead of answering your Qs directly, I'd like to put forth my own views on the show.

So the last week kickstarted the telecast of ASA. Now an interesting drama will begin to unfold.

There are actually three types of audience here

The judges,

the reel (or fake) audience that are playing a character in the show,

and the real audience (us)..

So all these three will determine the fate of the contestants and the show.

We as the real audience are the most enlightened ..since we get to see not only the actual show and the little tidbits of off screen drama therein (now this maybe real or playacting and only we as the real audience will be able to tell), but also the entire actual off screen drama.. That DC is privy to through his candid camera.

Usually the trend while viewing reality shows is.. that the audience picks a favorite among the contestants within the first two or three episodes and remains loyal to that candidate till the very end. Of course, the judges too influence the audience by their comments on the performances. Here again, the judges too have a favorite.. (usually a handpicked one) that they promote till the end, and the bickering amongst themselves to promote their favorite again adds to the drama and subsequently TRPs. Here DC is one of the judges and his favorite will be the one that brings in more TRPs. Of course, behind the screens we have seen that he prefers Meenu, but will he continue to do so even on screen? Or will he promote Karishma who is being touted as the audience favorite? Or perhaps his best chance for gaining TRPs is to have them both, since they are the two opposite faces of a coin, two contrasting personalities. And they obviously have no love lost between them that ups the competition between them.

We as the real audience are privy to each contestant's real nature. But how much of this will be revealed on screen I.e. To the fake( reel) audience? Will each of the contestants be also playing a role? I'm sure DC has some aces up his sleeve as to how he wants to present each candidate to the audience. So will we get to see two different personalities for each contestant emerging...one real and one fake?

Also the dynamics between Sanam, Mahua and the contestants will be interesting to watch. I have a feeling they too will be "told" who to promote and who to put down. Anything for TRPs right, JBji???

Add to this the already existing stakes and interplay/ dynamics between the contestants among themselves, JB's ploys pitting them against one another, playing one against the other and the resultant changing equations among them...

Again add to this a probable love triangle... Angad-Meenu-Akshat.. And the personal stakes changing, the professional and personal stakes pitted against each other, perhaps playing brother against brother.. hmm.. Lots of possibilities here. Let's wait and watch.

This is Apu's MOST powerful role (ever better than Armaan Suri )⭐️ where he does not need a heroine but I hope he has one later on.🤔

😳I notice Sandhya (DC's shadow somewhat undertstanding DC i feel now 👏), Karishma ( doing a great job), Akshat (loved his scene with his bro about his feeling after watching the first episode , these two brothers are growing on me) , Angad is a great brother hope he realises somewhere he is hurting both himself and his brother by always underperforming . Sameer ( cute boy acts well hope he remains on the show )

Liking the concept mostly and The curiousity to know more what goes behind the scene of a reality show..though read about it but to bring it on screen is quite a big step.. to get the interest the characterization of the actors starting with DC ..a multifaceted character and interesting one..he has his own world outside the real one and rules it as per his wish..quite intriguing as he succeeds brilliantly without the knowledge of the other person being used to make his show a success story..he plans..he executes and succeeds to the T..his character is one among the important USP of this show because it brings the viewers curious side of what will be DC next plan..he has a story and he himself creates his characters for his story..the naive simple meenakshi playing the main protagonist in it along with other characters like karishma which brings the conflict side...akshat attitude guy...he had an intro.now planning how to unfold the story bringing the chemistry of a couple to more entertainment and drama to finally the climax..liking also how each character has a story connected to him or her which blends well in the storyline..

What did you feel about it?
My feeling Watching ASA in these weeks I have started to ask myself questions?..if this is the reality in these shows then is it worth watching humiliation as entertainment.. how much enriching is these kind of reality shows for our real life?.. The character Apu is portraying as DC is giving us the reality behind the scene of what a producer can do to get such a show its success in real life..how some producers of these shows does not demonstrate sympathy to what a contestant is subjected to ..they are put in situation like humiliation ..conflict ..later we will get an altered version when gone through editing process to make things more interesting.. the footage going on air will be the producer's thinking mind as all he wants will result into the best entertainement value for the viewers..what he/she as a producer wants for us to watch..so nothing of sort of "real" in these shows.At the end its all for business success...its I'm not saying we should not watch but as a viewer to sit and give a reflection about why these kind of shows are made .. why we just sit and accept what they feed us as entertainment..
Will DC get good TRPs?
Yes he will get it his TRPS..DC orchestrated everything with precision and his ability of thinking ahead.so no doubt it will be a hit first episode of aasman se aage and guaranteed more TRPS in the future..
Will Meenakshi be a good idol for aam janata?

Definitely her destiny is in Dc's hand..he is ruling her life story without her knowledge..from the simple meenakshi to the next dancing star DC will prove it he is right..she is talented with DC adding a little drama in her life story and she becomes the fav of the audiences ..at the end we must not forget the jaanta..the mass out there all is in their hands ..they can make a show a super duper hit or a total flop.accept or throw out a contestant as per the footage which is going on air..viewers tends to get emotionally attached to a certain contestant and here meenakshi trials and tribulations will get her the sympathy of the viewers.. DC knows how to hit the right chord for that ..example the chawl people thanked him for giving meenakshi a chance..this is the aam jaanta all comes from the heart not mind...
Any other noteworthy points...

Noteworthy..sagar arts and nilanjana have succeeded till now to get a grip on the storyline..keeping well the flow of the show not stagnant..all actors from Apu to even sameer got their space to showcase their talent as their respective characters..quite difficult to maintain in such concept of fiction and reality.The PH and actors esp Apu is doing a fantastic job..
