reason for flashback

i think delena is a sure thing that's gonna happen in season 4...what else could be the reason for incorporating the fb...the fb had alot of hidden meanings...like elena telling damon that things would have been different if he had met her first and the flashback suddenly showed they had met first...which none had thought...even elena 's description of damon's love that it consumes her echoes what damon said in the fb that elena wants a love just like that...there are alot of indications for delena.though i love dlena and their chemistry i want them to reamain just like that...i dont want them to be a couple...i want stelena to be the couple...it was always stelena from the beggining...their love is so pure and selfless...

i agree with you! well the flashback indicated that DE wil b together but we shouldnt forget that it was stefan that saved her from the accident with her parents so without stefan... elena wouldnt even be alive this time! beside i saw the spark in SE the first time they met... i love damon too! well i m a stamon fan more than anything else and i know that if elena does choose one brother then the other one will be heartbroken😔 which i dont want. But again now u can kinda tell which way the story is going... she will choose damon but it is really really really really sad cos TVD started with stefan😭

I love Damon but for me its always Stefan and Elena despite who she met first. She might have felt attracted towards Damon during their first meeting but she did fall in love with Stefan first and as the the first comment said, she wouldnt be here if it wasnt for Stefan. STELENA <3

i agree😊 i think with damon its more of attraction rather than love😳 if she goes with stefan then i dont mind taking damon😆

That fb also showed Elena sharing her problem/ issue regarding Matt with Damon. Even though Damon was a stranger to her... someone she just met on the road, but still she chose to confide her problem in him.

She felt close to him the moment she met him. There was an instant comfort level + trust that made her talk to this stranger and even let him flirt with her a teensy bit without getting the least bit annoyed or awkward.

Flashback indicates that we are back to square one.. the whole season she would again be confused and all that

It just means that DE will be EnDgame. =)

If stefan was the one who saved elena's life,he was the same person who was responsible for her turning to a vampire.Elena feels being a vampire is even worse punishment than death.she said same thing to stefan himself in season 2.

Both brothers have done mistakes but they have been there for elena most of the times.So its better not to start the debate about who deserves elena,whose love is selfless,pure and all

Stefan and Elena fell in love within a few days of their first meeting.I find it very unrealistic.Damon and Elena had got a beautiful build up thru 3 seasons.Saw an understanding and spark in them which i never saw in SE.I know Elena didnt respect Damon because he never sided with her foolish decisions.If damon was in stefan's place he would've saved her not matt.Again elena would've hated him.But ppl change when they grow.At some point Elena will realize Damon had some good intentions after all.Especially now that she is a vampire ,her compassion for Damon will be heightened

As for DE happening! my answer is yes .eventually 😃.Because TVD is a triangle love story.Its not like twilight ..ie an epic lovestory of just 2 characters.Delena has got so many fans even when they didnt get proper mushy romantic scenes or make-out sessions like SE.There is a majority of TVD fanbase still rooting for DE to happen.Surely CT wont disappoint us completely 😉

Stefan gets Elena or not he will remain the true lover unlike Damon who finds a new love every other night !!! 🤣
