100% agreed. She doesn't need to prove anything. Who is ASR to her that she has to prove something to him anyways? A fake husband for 6 months?

Even back when she hid it, whilst I think she was a bit silly (as was her family) to think that Shyam would change now, she had no real reason to confide in ASR of all people. ASR was not her husband or even her lover. Yes they'd started to have *some* feelings that none of them had articulated but he was nothing to her in the end. Instead she had to think about her sister and her sister's marriage and it breaking for a second time instead. And then of course Anjali and how much her marriage means to her too. She was not in an easy position to just say 'hey your husband is a total creep who tried to marry me whilst married to you'. More than likely ASR would have accused her of running after Shyam anyways since his jijaji was so special to him for his Di. He was unlikely to have said 'oh ok khushi shyam is bad and you are innnocent'. No way would ASR have done that.

What I would have preferred is Payal showing some initiative and confiding in Akash or her family at least showing some concern about how Khushi is coping with Shyam in the house.

I so agree, like come on Khushi is going through from the start because of Arnav. You can so tell she is so upset cuz she isnt even talking. Like come one she doesnt have to prove anything. Those harsh words. If anyone has to prove anything thats Arnav. He has to prove that he loves her stuff. If someone hasnt done anything wrong then there is no reason for her prove her innocence

Was feeling the same. Didn't want Khushi to prove her innocence after everything Arnav did to her by forcing her to marry him (Damn it, he didn't even confront her about it)😲
