Siddharth Shukla who was last seen in Jaane Pehchaane Se Ye Ajnabbi has has been approached to play the part. Tellybuzz contacted him and he confirmed the news but added that nothing has been finalised - " Yes , I have been approached for the part but nothing has been finalized as of now'.

Our source informs us that the selected candidate will make an entry in a grand way - stepping out of a helicopter! We are sure all ardent Anandi fans would like to see her happy and guy has to extraordinary to woo her !

Karan wahi as a serious, mature IAS officer ...ummm ... See, it depends on how they intend to treat this track ... If they wanted to go with a young, fun loving, guy who spreads joy wherever he goes - Karan Wahi would be perfect

But i think they are going with serious, sensitive, no love at first sight but gradual more mature love ... Somebody who can tell anandi to cut it out when she goes on her mahaan-trip and focus on her own happiness - that i think needs someone different

He sure does look the part ... How does he act ? Never seen any of his serials before... any idea?
