I wrote this today somewhere else, but you folks might like to see it nonetheless.

Firstly, from Purvi's old desk, she cannot see into Arjun's cabin. Secondly, if she showed so plainly that she was very upset with Arjun, all the office staff who watched while Arjun announced her promotion and DK gave her his blessings, would start gossiping that Arjun had ditched her for Ovi. That would be the last thing Purvi would want.

So I think it is one of the standard goof ups, and like Trish, I too wondered about it when I saw the precap. But then, the CVs have little use for the laws of physics on the line of sight!

Dunno .. today's episode will clarify why she was back at that desk, diagonally opposite and conveniently placed to see all that she did. If they don't show a solid reason. I will assume it was to punch it right into Purvi's heart.

Vgiri and Shyamala, i totally agree with you on this. For me it depended on what Arjun did after the fiasco of the party was over. IF he told his father right away...i would be pleased and feel he did the right thing. Up til then he was treading on thin ice so to speak. But i was very pleased that happened and i hoped he would mention Ashna, and he did.

It turned a "are you out of your friggin mind?" moment into a "one should always marry the one he/she loves" moment 👍🏼 😆 LOL

Harsha.. all this is the game of the trp .. as the trps rise or fall, breakups, linkups and reunions in PR happen. Am sure if it suits the writers new people will be brought into the storyline. Even though I say a new hero is needed for Purvi, I'd only want it to be temporary, just as a support for Purvi.
Arjun and Purvi belong together😳. let's hope they do come together in atleast a month if not more.😳 ... or else we might have to wait for 3-4 months like manav said in the last episode for ovi's marriage.

I'm not sure how I feel about today's episode. 😕

While its true that Arjun told his dad, his dad asked him to keep quiet unil he talked to Manav because its a sticky situation. Surely a smart man like DK would understand the implications if Arjun keeps mum. I understand that this briar patch needs to be handled with finesse but how is DK going to tackle this?
Two girls from the same family and one doesn't even know she's related to the other - one sister understands the full gravity of the situation while the other is walking in the clouds.
Time is of the essence and he's asked Arjun for time to do what exactly? Create a business plan to deal with the situation? 😆 How does keeping quiet acutally HELP the situation??? What if he never makes it back from his trip? What happens then? 😲
By the way, none of them acknowledged that Purvi witnessed the whole thing and didn't think of how devastated she must feel??? Shame, shame.
So is Arjun sacrificing for his dad's honour? An Purvi is sacrificing for her mother? Do they tell each other this? Or are they keeping quiet too waiting to see how the other is reacting? I want to see the conversation between Arjun and Purvi about how THEY are going to handle this.
Archana/Manav interaction was good except for the begging thing... that's really starting to irk me.
Purvi was very subdued and spot on appropriate for the situation. She did the scene justice - not overacting.
I loved Tej too - the adorable blabber mouth 😆 She's driving nails into a coffin she didn't even know she built. She's probably going to feel so bad once the realization hits her about Arjun and Purvi. She's a clever girl and I think will figure it out soon.
I may have missed it but when did DK/Arjun realize that Purvi and Ovi were sisters? DK had no clue who Purvi was until her met her at the office (meaning related to Manav) and then again when she got the promotion. Also, they never showed Arjun acknowledging the fact that Purvi/Ovi were sisters either. (I could see Arjun figuring it out from the Holi episode). Common sense would put them together obviously but sometimes this is not that kind of show 😆
It felt like a check list episode - as in we know who the major players are (the ones who have the power to stop this fiasco) and can check off knowing about ARVI one by one. Of course, none will tell the other until the almost wedding. 😆
Stars of the day -
Purvi - Handled it like a pro ⭐️
Tej - For that incessant drivel that will unravel this whole mystery for everyone 😆
Arjun - For manning up with a one liner - "I love someone else, Dad"... 😉
and DK - for saying "Are you out of your friggin mind??" 😆 I loved that - First thought that crossed my mind - 'Can you say that on indian soapy tv?' and secondly, 'Was that in the script?' 😆

fabulous post!

He (Arjun) tells everyone to come straight to the point and yet he's beating around the bush. He should have told Ovi straightaway about Purvi because the topic was on Purvi. This was a golden chance. He could have told Ovi after the peon left.

I am afraid I do not agree with this at all. It was in fact more than imprudent of Arjun to attempt his great revelation in the office. It should have been done somewhere private, where the explosion sure to follow could have been contained.

Now, if Arjun had managed to enlighten Ovi today, it would undoubtedly have been most satisfying for all of us, but the side effects might not have been so nice. Not only would she have brought the roof down, but she would certainly have been extremely rude to Purvi within the hearing of the whole office. The resulting scandal would have rivalled the MMS affair.

The other point is that as soon as he sees the file sent by Purvi, he grabs
the excuse it gives him for going across to Purvi's cabin. He would never have passed that up!

The fact is that Arjun is now like a very tightly stretched wire, and he is going to crack up very soon under the intolerable strain. He is prone to this sort of thing, and when he really flips, he will throw all caution and propriety to the winds. It is this acute restlessness, mad worse by Purvi's determined refusal to let him talk to her, that makes him disregard his father's express injunction and try to tell all to Ovi in his office.

As a linked issue, it is thus all the more important for Purvi to grow up, rise above the overpowering misery that weighs her down, and realize that running away from or cold-shouldering Arjun is not going to help either of them. She can see how acutely miserable he is as well, and if she really loves him, she would feel his suffering as acutely as her own. She would want to get him out of this slough of despond no matter how bad she herself feels. She has to let him talk to her at some point, and this is better done outside the office, not only because no one will barge in, but also because their emotions will then not have to be kept under tight control.

I agree Shyamala.. such discussions should take place in privacy.. and absolutely not in the office! which has been witness to the mms episode. It is best to keep it professional at work. But what Namita is saying is that she'd like Arjun to get it over with..😆 😆but, the office is absolutely the wrong place to start, and Arjun should speak to Ovi in private. Well, such things won't be revealed in a smooth manner. Instead of Arjun telling Ovi about Purvi, it'll comeout in a dramatic fashion in PR. Maybe Punni will do the honors.😆
