Hi guys, I know not many of you were happy with the short_update yesterday but I did promise for an extra-longer update today, so here you guys go! I will get to PMing everyone in about an hour!!
Part 28
Arnav wakes up. He sees Khushis hands on his forehead. He gently puts her hands aside and has a look at the watch. Its now 8am.
Khushi also wakes up when he tries to put her hands aside.
Arnav holds her hand and talks: no, you rest for a little more.
Khushi pulls Arnav back: now tell me, what happened? How did I faint?

Arnav takes shyam by the collar: shyam! I cant see my di sad for the rest of her life that's why I am going to finish it with you today.
Khushi faints with all the exertion, seeing Anjali breaking down, crying, and not being able to choose between her husband and her only brother, seeing Nani and Alisha in worry, seeing Payal cry her eyes and Akash very tensed, and most of all seeing Arnav boil in hot anger, not being able to show her di what a stupid man she has married. Seeing Arnav being tortured like this was a torture to her and she couldn't stand it anymore. Her eyes start to blur up, and the world starts circling around. She suddenly starts to melt down, when Arnav gets a hold of her. Nani and Alisha scream seeing Khushi faint in pregnancy and get worried for her, but Thank God Arnav gets her at the right time.
Arnav screams: Khushiii. He picks her up gently and puts her on the bed, walking past Shyam.
Nani and Alisha start getting worried. Its not good for Khushi to faint so much in this time. What if she hit the floor? Thank God, Arnav saved her at the right time.
Anjali: oh you're worried about khushi...but not me? I am also pregnant, by the way, if you have forgotten. The amount of stress this girl is giving me is just unbelievable.
Arnav: di! Please don't speak anymore! Everyone! Nani, Masi, Akash, Payal, everyone! Come here! He walks to the big cupboard, reaches out for the top, and grabs a camera from underneath the flowers. He takes everyone to the main room, connects the wires from the video camera to the TV. Akash and payal remember that he had entered the room after they finished decorating it. The video starts... In the video, Khushi is rubbing her tummy and smiling to herself looking at the decorations.
Meanwhile everyone is watching the video, Shyam stands in the corner making faces to himself. Anjali has her arm linked with him.
Video: Shyam enters in the room.
Khushi: You?!
Shyam: Yes, Khushiji. I got your voicemail.
He closes the door behind him to which Khushi gets scared.
Khushi: Look Shyamji, I didn't send any voicemail to you.
Shyam suddenly doesn't listen to her anymore, and just keeps advancing towards her. Khushi keeps going behind.
Khushi: what are you doing, jeejaji?
Shyam: jeejaji? come on, atleast don't call me that, we were engaged once, khushi.
Khushi: yes, but that's the past. Now you're my jeejaji.
Shyam now goes and sits on the bed: come on khushiji. You know I love you, how many times do I have to say it to you?
Khushi: shyam!!! Listen to my one thing, I don't like you, never did, and never will. Please go out of the room otherwise I will call Arnav.
Shyam hears footsteps so quickly goes into their washroom.
Khushi quickly runs and opens the door and finds her whole family outside.
The video continues showing Shyams ugly expressions and how he thinks he is being too smart showing everyone what a bechara person he is, but the truth unfolds. Anjali gets shocked on hearing the line "atleast don't call me that, we were engaged once, khushi".
She unlinks her arm with Shyam and starts moving closer to the TV now nearly standing opposite Arnav on the side of TV. Hearing 'come on khushiji. You know I love you, how many times do I have to say it to you?', Anjali cannot contain herself so she remembers all the incidents she caught Shyam hovering around her chotays and bhabhis room. How many times she caught him in THEIR poolside, how many times she caught him stuttering whenever she questioned him about anything. Was that real? OR was the guy who brought her flowers, decorated the baby cot with roses real? She couldn't understand what was going on. Had she really lost her chotay and her bhabhi? What will she do if Shyam is at blame? How will she raise her child without a father? Had she been loving a liar all this time? Millions of these and other thoughts wandered in her mind, while she dropped near the TV. Arnav saw this in slow motion and ran towards her di to catch hold of her. His life was a mess. His wife fainted moments ago. Now his di fainted. All due to this Shyam. He controls his sister and makes her sit on the sofa, gives her a glass of water. Shyam comes near Anjali and sits next to her.
Shyam: Ranisahiba, this is not true. Whatever you just saw was not true, ranisahiba. You know I have improved. I love our new kid, ranisahiba. This is not true.
Anjali doesn't say anything. She keeps remembering all those moments Khushi tried to tell her that Shyam wasn't right. Her chotay had been trying to save her life, but se didn't listen. Instead she kicked them out of the house, didn't congratulate them on their new member. She remembered all those times Khushis father tried to tell her something about Shyam, and freaked out. She remembered everything. Everything fit into place.
Anjali gets up, tries to walk but suddenly falls due to all the exertion and loses conscious. Arnav runs towards her and picks her up and puts her on the sofa. Shyam tries to sneak out, when the door opens and police enters.
Police: We have an arrest warrant against you, for attempting murder of Anjali Jha, and the unborn kid, and we also arrest you for the unlawful action of getting duplicate keys made of someones private locker.
Constable: Sir, we have another warrant against them.
Inspector: Yes, the third warrant against you is for living deceptively with the Guptas and never practicing your law degree.
Police arrests Shyam while he tries to break free and takes him away in the police car to the Lucknow Jail. Meanwhile, Arnav calls the doctor and he comes and checks Anjali who is still unconscious.
Doctor: The baby is fine, Mr. Raizada, no need to worry. Mrs. Jha is also fine.
Anjali wakes up meanwhile and interrupts the doctor: Miss Raizada, doctor saab. I will be divorced from Shyam soon so start calling me Miss Raizada.
Doctor: Miss Raizada, I am sorry for that.
Anjali: no, its absolutely dine, doctor. I wanted to ask about Khushi, how is she?
Alisha and Nani are also anxious to know.
Doctor: Her BP is low. I told you last time I came that her pregnancy is not going good at the moment. And so you should take care of her.
Alisha: Doctor, don't worry, now nothing will happen to her. Everything is fine now.
Doctor: I hope, for Khushis sake, that what you're saying is true.
Alisha and Nani assure him. Arnav tells Akash to see the doctor off to the door.
Anjali gets up: Where is Payal, Akash?
Akash: She is with Khushi bhabhi, di, I hope you don't mind.
Anjali: Stop it, Akash. I may have acted like a negative character in past days, but believe me, I was under Shyams influence.
Akash: its okay, di, just forget about him.
Arnav comes to Anjali and hugs her and cries: I am so so sorry di, this is all because of me and Khushi. I know you must be scared of raising your little angel without her fathers support, but don't you worry, di. Everyone will help you. This kid will have the best mama mami if you let us help you.
Anjali: Chotay I know, but please, listen to me, I have thought of something.
Nani and Alisha look at her.
Anjali: I am going to live in Sheeshmehal from now. I want to forget whatever happened between me and Shyam and I need some alone time, so, while allof you go back to Delhi, I will manage myself here. Please don't say no.
Arnav: but di, how can you live by yourself at this time. You're in 7th month. You're going to need a lot of help.
Anjali: I have everyone. HP is here and there are a lot of servants.
Arnav: I didn't meant that di. Come on you will feel lonely here.
Alisha: Don't worry, Chotay. I can live with Anjali till she stays here. I was going to stay with Khushi, but now that she can go back to her own house, she is going to have Naniji there and Payal and Manorama. I will help Anjali.
Anjali: see, masee is with me. Don't worry.
Arnav reluctantly says yes, but feels very sad about it. He returns to his bedroom to catch on hows Khushi, but he finds her sleeping, so he goes holds her hand and falls asleep near the bedside.

Khushi cries inconsolably. Arnav tries to hold her.
Khushi: So all this happened while I was unconscious?
Arnav nods.
Khushi: OMG, di is not coming back because of me. I am so sad for her now.
Arnav: its not your fault, Khushi. I hav realised that she needs some time alone. After all she spent all those years with Shyam and now their little Anash is going to enter the world. She needs to be prepared, and ready.
Khushi: but we will be there with her, na, here she will just have masi.
Arnav: its okay, she is old enough to make her own decisions. But how are you feeling now?
Khushi: I feel better now. I have been sleeping so much.
Arnav: its good. Doctor has told me to take extra care of you from now. Les go downstairs to have some lunch then we are leaving for Delhi in the evening, okay.
Khushi nods, and they both get fresh and go downstairs to have lunch with everyone.
